Dunhuang Hotels with Gym

Xiao Du's warm hospitality made us feel at home. The facilities are pretty good. It takes one minute longer to get to the night market than the hotel next to it which is twice as expensive. There is an underground parking lot, which makes it more convenient to drive by yourself. Not bad, but the breakfast is not particularly rich, which is a little bit missing.

You won’t regret staying here. In summary it’s a very nice hotel (quite large actually) that is perfectly located (about 1km walking from the sand dunes (Mingsha mountain and Creacent Moon spring area). Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the architecture is also really nice. The views from the roof top terrace (breakfast/ coffee spot) are amazing and the breakfast itself is also quite good. The downside that’s also to mention: Price wise it’s a bit expensive especially during holiday season. Rooms are a bit old and you can hear everyone passing by.

The design and layout of the hotel room are reasonable, giving people a warm and homely feeling. The room is spacious and bright, with excellent lighting, moderate temperature of central air conditioning, and soft color of curtains, creating a comfortable resting environment. In terms of details, the hotel is also very well done. The bed is large and comfortable, the mattress is moderately soft and hard, and the bedside wall lamp has soft light, which is very helpful for sleep. The bathroom is fully equipped, including intimate equipment such as anti-slip mats, clean and tidy, and people can use it with confidence. In addition, the hotel also provides free bottled drinking water, coffee machines, coffee cups and other convenient facilities, so that I can relax at any time after a busy day. The quality of the hotel staff is generally high. Whether it is the lobby front desk or the room cleaning staff, they always smile and provide meticulous service. Especially during my stay, the cleaning staff was very careful and gentle when cleaning the room, trying to minimize the interference to me. This meticulous care makes people feel at home. The hotel's catering service is also a highlight. The breakfast is rich in variety and delicious, meeting the needs of different guests. The restaurant in the hotel also provides high-quality catering services, allowing me to enjoy an authentic food experience. In general, Huaxia International Hotel has performed well in terms of location, facilities, services, etc., providing me with a perfect stay experience. I believe that any guest staying here will feel the hotel's meticulous care and thoughtful service.

Accommodation in Dunhuang is relatively cheap in the off-season, and the service is also relatively good. The hotel is not far from Mingsha Mountain and is also relatively close to the Dunhuang Night Market. This hotel has airport pick-up service, which is very good. I booked it for one day and directly renewed it for 2 days. The hotel is clean and hygienic, so I won't say much about it. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, the toilet is electric, and the breakfast is very rich and superb.

I always stay at this hotel when I come to Dunhuang. It is convenient for transportation and you can walk to the Dunhuang Night Market. The service attitude is also very good. It is worth recommending.

The hotel is quite spectacular and grand, with convenient transportation. The Dunhuang Museum is within easy reach, and it is also close to the Dunhuang Night Market. After dinner, I just walked back to the hotel to digest the food. The hotel rooms and bathrooms are large, and footbaths, bath salts and hot water are prepared for guests every night, which can relieve the fatigue of a day's play. It feels very good! The hotel breakfast is rich in variety, especially the bowl of beef noodles must be tried. The dishes in the Chinese restaurant are also delicious and the portion is quite large. The hotel service is warm and thoughtful, and guests are equipped with special housekeepers to provide various services, which is very good! The appearance of the hotel seems to be amazing, the lobby looks more general, the room facilities are relatively complete, and the management is relatively standardized and clean; the waiter's awareness is relatively strong and qualified, helping with luggage and sending snack plates. The function of the room light source is simple to distinguish, the desk has a special light source is very convenient; the wireless network signal is unstable. The quilt is light and soft and skin-friendly, and the two pillows feel very comfortable. The split air conditioner is cooled. The room faces the road and sleep is slightly affected. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry by plastic curtains. There is a shower hose. It is convenient for children to travel. The amount of hot water in the bath is very cool. The washbasin has a barbed setting that is not easy to flood Jinshan. There is a double power socket at the bedside, and the mobile phone charging application is convenient. The hotel's breakfast environment is relatively spacious, the dinner tastes basically good, the tiger skin pepper is sweeter; the Chinese and Western buffet breakfast is rich and delicious, the team is more, the dining order is a bit messy. The parking lot in front of the door is safe and convenient. Of course, some room for improvement, such as the room is prepared to escape the rope, is rare, but the lack of anti-theft chain buckle of the door makes the guest feel less safe.

Location is very ideal, along a pleasant Main Street, around 5 to 8 mins walk to night market, yet away from the rowdiness of tourists. Just opposite there are convenience shops, a western bakery (Angelia) and stretch of small restaurants in an alley which are of good quality. Front desk services are fantastic especially helpful for foreigners ( though they don’t speak English- try to use e-translator), regarding local attractions and getting a cab for you if encounter difficulties. They are genuinely helpful to try to overcome your difficulties. Special mention on Ya Jin who even asked her regular taxi driver to accompany us to buy the Mogao Grottoes tickets and arranged for a long distance taxi trip to Liuyuan South Railway station. Wang Na also offered her WeChat contact number if we have difficulties coming back at night. Really warm hospitality. Even the hotel driver who fetched us from the airport was nice(complimentary service). The housekeepers are too hardworking. Only complain I have is the breakfast which served exactly the same thing every morning and of limited choices. Thus Angelia bakery just opposite was really a good alternative.

We got free upgrade to the suite so that was nice. Very pretty river view and not as noisy as some of the reviews I've read. Probably because the weather was getting chilly. Room was very spacious, even for just the size of the bedroom alone. Bed was comfortable and not too soft. But I will say that the light switches in the rooms and also the smart toilet seat were very confusing. Strangely, it had a large bathtub area, but a separate and very squished shower closet. The water didn't quite drain properly also. Breakfast was okay. But considering how the city really is just a town in the desert, I'd say it's actually pretty good. The local restaurants are also options, but we had to get up super early for day trips, and didn't feel like freezing outside to look for food when it's still dark. Side note, the night market in town is nice but not much going on outside of that area. The hotel is not in the city centre, but since the city is small, taxi is the way to go. We actually end up just getting the phone number of one of the taxi driver, and called her whenever we planned to head out. I chose the hotel based on aesthetics and was not disappointed. But our suite was in the end of a very long hallway, so get ready to walk if you are not near the elevator.
