As amazing as it looks. Great location to walk to the dunes. Rooftop perfect for sunset and sunrise views. Only advice is to not eat at the Bar restaurant on the roof (breakfast is great, but dinner menu is mostly average western style food - go to the night market in town instead!)

I have travelled a lot in China the last 5 years.
This is probably one of the best hotels I have been.
Clean, comfortable, close to everything, very nice staff. Have everything you need in the room. They leave you presents in the room, have all the free drinking water you need, free apples, just excellent welcome feeling.
They go as far as pointing the shower head to the side everytime they clean the room so you don't get wet when you turn on the shower. More expensive and luxurios hotels have a lot to learn from these guys. Just excellent.

The room is newly renovated and the environment is average. We checked in on July 27 and the unit price was 780 yuan/day. The layout of the room is not reasonable. There is not even a shelf for towels when washing your face, and there is no place to put clothes in the shower... Decoration We only consider the aesthetics but not the practicality of living.

The service was exceedingly good at ZhongZhou hotel. I stayed with my wife and had a second room for my daughter and son in law.
The lobby always had someone to open doors/press the elevator button for guests. What really stood out to me was the attitude of the workers. Breakfast typically starts at 7, when I mentioned I had to leave at 6:15, the worker at the restaurant told me to come early, and she would have it ready for me. Unfortunately no fitness center but the laundry room was a plus. There were also plenty of washing machines (no dryers).
This hotel truly felt like a second home. The rooms and beds were also comfortable and clean. A fantastic stay overall, would definitely stay here again.

I happened to catch up with a sandstorm in Dunhuang, and the sky was filled with dust. The hotel is located near the street, making it convenient for traveling and shopping. Not far from Dunhuang Night Market and Jianrong Market. The hotel decoration design style is novel and in line with the new trend, practical and convenient, and separated from dry and wet. The bedding is clean, soft and comfortable. Very good feeling of living 👍

Environment: There is a snack street nearby. The famous Yangji Dry Food Store is right on the snack street, and you can basically walk 500 to 600 meters to get there, which is very convenient.

Environment: Very quiet and convenient. There is Shazhou Night Market nearby. There are supermarkets, breakfast shops, and donkey meat noodle shops nearby. You can eat and buy snacks. You can take the No. 3 bus to Lei for 200 meters and spend 2 yuan. Yin Temple and Crescent Moon Spring,
Service: The front desk clerk is warm and polite, with a smile on her face, as friendly and cute as the girl next door.
Hygiene: clean and hygienic, the room has no strange smell, and the windows have sand windows that can be opened for ventilation
Facilities: The drinking water boiler hanging on the wall produces water quickly, and the boiling water is 100% 100℃.

The hotel is an old hotel, clean and hygienic, with thoughtful service.
Because we arrived on New Year's Eve, we upgraded the room type. Xiao Du at the front desk was very nice, and reminded us that there might be no restaurants open for dining during the New Year.
Coming from the south, I felt it was too dry, so I added a humidifier.
In short, it was great👍

GGuest UserThe location is outside the City center in a green ,lush,very quiet environment and very close the Singing mountains . The hotel is built and equipped in traditionell style. The breakfast is made of fresh and high quality dishes in local style. Absoluty outstanding was the hospitality and the help with information, transportation and even more ..we could experience places , got information about the local live, the history of Dunhuang and much more. Departing was like leaving friends behind. Special thanks to Mr. HU his son, the landlords and to Candy. Hope to visit that place and the awesome stay again.

SSatyrFrostMetropark is a nice hotel located near a river and is relatively central to the city. A lovely staff member, 李雪 (Li Xue) helped me check in and she took me to my hotel room. She was extremely helpful and friendly.
The hotel room is very spacious, clean and quite luxurious. The hotel is within walking distance to the night market and the museum.
Highly recommended.

MmarkVisited Dunhuang on several occasions before but Bowen Hotel is the best considering its rating and price. It's a 4 star and only 150 CNY per night. For this you get a well appointed comfortable room with a view of the river. The rooms are well set out with plenty of space, power points and light switches where they are needed, and a stable reliable and secure wifi signal. The Hotel is situated about 300m east of Dunhuang museum. So, still within walking distance of night market main street, bars, memory box cafe, bus no.3 to Mingsha etc
The bathroom is good quality with a glass enclosure for the shower unit, which has lots of space. The hot water system is responsive and strong, over 24 hours (-10°C outside). Good quality towels and a floor mat are provided and replaced each day by the effecient room service staff.who keep rooms spotlessly clean. The queen sized bed is super comfortable- not too soft or too hard. The double boutique room also has a coffee table, sofa and matching foot rest.
I especially appreciated the gym on floor 7. Limited but useful equipment (treadmill, weights). Another useful feature is a laundry service - also on floor 7. I was fortunate enough to interact with the hotel manager, (who communicates in English very well) and she arranged a taxi late at night to Liuyuan. Overall a pleasant hotel experience in a great oasis town. Will definitely stay again and recommend.

SSaharathThe hotel location is good, right in the city center. The exterior may look like an ordinary modern Chinese hotel but the guest room interior is quite nice. Modern with lots of electrical outlets.
The breakfast is simple but tastes really good. The best for this China trip for me.
The hotel also has a free pickup and dropoff service from/to Dunhuang Airport and Dunhuang Railway Station.
One of a few drawbacks for me is the shower room design. I mean construction wise, not decoration wise. Even though there is a circumference groove on the shower room floor to drain water, the swinging glass shower door leaves space at the bottom, causing water to spill outside and pool on the floor. The floor is marbled so it could be slippery.
Another is that even though I had the hotel's WeChat account and had tried to contact them, as I thought I would be able to use the translation function on the app, I was not able to reach anyone or get any response.

The hotel is in the city center, very close to the night market and snack street. The location is very good and the price is very high. Front desk No. 018 The waiter service is very online, polite and efficient in check-in procedures. Whether it is the aunt on the floor or the waiter in the restaurant, they will be very enthusiastic to help and serve. Oh, by the way, there are small biscuits and jujubes in the room, which are super delicious😋For now This is great for the off-season of this tourist city. GGuest UserThe plane arrived at Dunhuang Airport at 12 o'clock at night. The hotel had arranged a car to wait at the airport in advance. Thank you for the hard work of the driver! The beautiful lady at the front desk of the hotel was very enthusiastic when I arrived. She said that the air conditioner in my room had been turned on for me. She also arranged for breakfast to be delivered to my room on time at 8 o'clock. Thank you to the beautiful lady at the front desk and the morning delivery waiter. Thank you! Your service is customer-oriented and makes people feel at home. The room is also very clean. I give it a five-star praise!

Overall hotel is fine and nice facilities but some amenities is missing. we need to request for shower cap and others from the front desk as they not arrange in the room. This hotel claim as 4 star but not provide any tea bag in the room when we ask the staff they said that hotel just open and the vendor still not sent T_T. Hope this could preparation in the future. I booked this hotel with free breakfast privilege's trip.com . The breakfast is very simple, free is ok but not worth if need additional charge.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located about one kilometer away from Dunhuang Night Market. It is very cost-effective. The sanitary conditions are OK. Disposable towels are provided. The room booked is relatively small, but the window is the road. It is noisy at night. If you have high sleep requirements, be careful. There are two little girls at the front desk. The service attitude was very good, and they helped me contact the chartered bus. Since I had children with me, I had a lot of free time on the west route chartered bus. I visited Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes and Mingsha Mountain Crescent Spring. It was a very satisfying trip to Dunhuang.

The pharmacy, supermarket, restaurant downstairs, and the Chinese Medicine Hospital opposite the hotel are very convenient for Baoma and friends with the elderly! The room is very spacious and the space is large. The most important thing is that the hotel staff is very warm. We arrived in the middle of the night. The front desk has been calling for the hotel to be afraid of not finding the hotel! We are very warm to arrive in a strange city! like! In addition, this hotel is very Buddhist. No one urges you to pay the room fee for the renewal of the room. You have to pay the room fee until you check out! In particular, I praised the beautiful sister at the front desk. The people are super nice and very enthusiastic. I have a flight at 5 o'clock in the afternoon. After discussing with the beautiful sister, I will postpone it for two hours!
