Generally it is fine, but poor handling of the fire alarm that made the customers waited under cold weather (outdoor) for 45 mins without doing anything (no announcement about what happened).

Bedroom lights wouldn't turn off without removing the key card. This meant you couldn't see if you needed the toilet in the night. No attempt was made to fix this during our stay and no effort to move us to another room.

Booking a premier inn is normally my go to as it’s a safe bet and you know what your getting with there standards. Unfortunately the room was not up to its standards, it was a very, very tiered hotel. After paying for 3 nights at the price of £234 for a family of 4. We had to delay a night and pay an extra £38 to move the date one day later. I was so disappointed in the cleanliness of this hotel. The room we had a first was in need of some care. It had a lot of damp patches in the bathroom. The bathroom vanity was disintegrating near the toilet. The carpet was so old I’d thought I’d gone back in time. I booked a family room for me, my husband and my two children age 9 and 11. The room was so small we could barely put our cases anywhere. They’d put in two single beds squished in near the wall. I’ve staying in loads of premier inns around the country and I’d say this is the worst one I’ve ever been to. I spoke to the lady at the from seat explaining to her that to room was really small for and I’d booked a family room and as we were there for 3 nights is there anyway we could move rooms. Emily the lady on the from seat was so helpful she managed to find a little bit bigger room for us to stay in. She set up another bed. Very grateful. Don’t think we’ll stay here again. Breakfast buffet was ok, not amazing.

Very nice and clean accommodation. Comfortable bed Friendly staff Good parking Easy check in and check out Only flaw was the heating, I followed instructions and set the temperature to 20 degrees but woke up in the middle of the night and it was at 28 so had to open windows resulting is a waste of energy

Very disappointed with our visit to this hotel. One week before we left we had an email Informing us there would be building work at this hotel. There would be limited parking, noise from 8am and there could be scaffolding. They did say there would be complimentary breakfast. We were not happy to recieve this as we would never have booked the hotel knowing this. The email gave us an email address and phone number to contact Dunfermline. We emailed immediately asking if due to the circumstances if we cancelled the booking would they refund our money. We got no reply. As we didn’t want to lose the money we went to Dunfermline and it wasn’t good. There were only towels for one in the room. We only had 1 pillow each and a dirty duvet was stuffed under the bed. The breakfast next morning was gone by 7.45 ( the receptionist got us 1 banana). There was no breakfast on the second day, what we got then was a power cut. It is very difficult to wash and get dressed in the dark. All in all a horrible experience. The saving grace for this place is the lovely girl on reception who really did her best in the circumstances.

Would not recommend here in the slightest to any of my friends, one staff specifically thinks it's ok to allow a individual with how do I say for a taste of the younger, believed to be his partner is Stuart at reception, Also heard that this Stuart also likes to threaten 18 year old girls. Absolutely appaling they whould hire a staff member like this to bring in such an individual (got kids, keep them away)
