Premier Inn Dunfermline

First impressions weren't the best compared to some other premier inns. Pros- staff helpful,comfy beds and a good breakfast. Cons- location not ideal for town,wifi poor,usb ports in room don't work. Bar and restaurant hours could be extended as nowhere in hotel to get food or drink on arrival after a long trip to get there

Good value and easy transport links into Edinburgh via the local station. The room that we stayed in does look run down, and could do with a refresh. No aircon, and it did get very warm at night even in December, yet due to noise on the site you couldn’t leave the window open. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I want to thank the incredible staff, Emily, Leanne and Andrea for their hospitality and service. They really make us feel welcome, helping me celebrate my son's birthday in style. The true testament is, having stayed here before and had a brilliant experience, I gave my son the choice between yourselves or a 4* with a pool. His response was... Let's go where the beds are super comfy and the staff are lovely. I love coming here...when you consider the ridiculous comfort of the beds, the amazing water pressure in the bath/shower and those specific ladies mentioned above, who make us feel like we are bespoke customers.. there is no better place or price around with this level of service. Thank you for helping me celebrate my boys birthday and making it a memorable one. He's really happy and so am I. Until next time.. thank you. Julia

The hotel its self is adequate for an overnight stay(3 stars). However do not prepay for the meal/breakfast as it’s awful. It’s as though they have tried to find the cheapest possible produce! (1 star). The staff were to be fair good but the produce at both evening meal and breakfast was very poor. The fruit salad was the only thing I had that was enjoyable. It was also very quiet which says I’m not the only one that has this opinion.

What a lovely and welcoming hotel!

 I stayed here with my family and couldn’t have had a better time! We return here often! There were plenty of car park spaces on the outside and when coming into reception we were greeted by lovely receptionists, I wish I had gotten their names!! Reception was cheery also with the addition of autumnal decorations of leaves on the desk and a chance for my kids to decorate a leaf/hand to add to the tree. This created a lovely and inclusive vibe the minute we got in. When going up to the room, there was a lovely smell that showed that the room had been cleaned and I couldn’t find fault! It was definitely what you expected from a premier inn! Later at night, we went out for food and the same service continued and the food was amazing! Lovely atmosphere throughout! Even in the morning, we were able to grab our delicious breakfast quickly enough as we were headed out for the day. It was great to see that on the way back in from breakfast my kids leaves were hanging on the tree already and they loved that!

Looking forward to coming back! I have heard that there will be more kids’ activities on the walls as we get closer to Christmas!

Great experience. Room comfortable, and bathroom good size. Very clean albeit looking a wee bit "tired". Great value for money . Check in and out seamless and very friendly staff. Premier Inn was perfect for my needs. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, decent toiletries, convenient for Edinburgh without the price tag, lots of food choices around.
