Hotels near Saint Vicente Ferrer Quasi-Parish Church in Dumaguete

I love this hotel. i have stayed here now many many times, and i have NEVER had a bad experience, so i thought i would finally write a DESERVED GOOD review. The Hotel is placed right at the heart of Dumaguete, everything you would want is with a few mins of the hotel, the hotel also provides trips to some of the popular tourist attractions. The rooms are always clean and fresh with daily room service, but in my opinion the only thing that lets the rooms down are the showers which sadly could do with more maintenance as often they are faulty in some way and poorly kept looking, but they still provide good supply of hot water. I have stayed in all of the rooms they offer, from their suite to the standard rooms, and all show the same levels of cleanliness and the rooms always feel welcoming. Free breakfast is provided and the restaurant is good and the food well cooked and presented , the hotel provides a full range of pampering service if you require some self indulgence. The staff are ALWAYS friendly polite professional and on hand for any reason and will always make you feel important and a valued guest. I have in all my stays at this Hotel had only ever had one problem which was dealt with professionally, immediately and satisfactorily,. This hotel is ALWAYS my first choice when i visit Dumaguete, and will continue to be so They have plenty of rooms and even as a walk in, i have never been turned away from being fully booked, Its always a pleasure staying here.... This hotel exceed my expectation....above standard wow All staff will greet you with happy and heartily mabuhay!!!! Frontdesk super friendly and accommodating with all the details provided Room cleaners are very good and friendly Security are very helpfull all the times with smile and greetings... Super happy with the stay.....

Staff was very friendly and genuine. Breakfast was also really great with 3 options (continental, American and Filipino). There was also possible to adjust a bit like stronger coffee, less baked bacon or 1 egg only. Furniture and decoration is also very beautiful. I also really appreciated the cleaning staff to put of their shoes/slipper when entering the room for cleaning. If I can make a few improvements it is. Bed cover was only 1 sheet. A blanket or a more thick bed cover would be nice. More variety in fridge like cola, diet coke or sprite More punctual in coffee sachets refills and towels (if one is on the ground placed for replacement. But overall it was good value for money Staff always smiled and was friendly. Location is also great. Close to boulevard and 50’meter swimming pool is only 20’minutes walking distance. Don’t forget to give the small local restaurants a try. I really enjoyed the Dumaguete experience also because of you 🙏

It's in the town centre near Macdonald's, Jollibee and Lee plaza and others, it's ok we stayed because we had an early flight, there is a lift to the floors of your room. You can get drinking water and hot water on the third floor, it's basic but the bed was comfortable and air-conditioning in the room's, it was ok for us but the desk staff looked miserable, maybe if they smiled their face would crack, very rare to see miserable looking staff

We stayed only overnight at this unique beautiful botique hotel as we have to fly the following day to Manila . We were immediately greeted by a very special and charming lady by the name of February, very sweet and charming ! Welcome drink was really timely after 1 hour ride from Zambuanquita where we had our hotel for the Apo island diving the night before. What makes this hotel special is how friendly and accommodating the staff were, not to mention the Philippine hut style “igloo” & beautiful interior design.The role model for how to “treat” a guest is the GM & Operations Manager, Marlon Navarro. I am a Filipino expat who had lived over 40 years in Europe and just on a diving & golf safari with my buddy but I have never seen an “over the top” hospitality from a hotel manager. Marlon answered all our enquiries including where to have a nice dinner, bar to hang out, sightseeing and spa. For spa, don’t miss the hotel spa especially with Jess - one of my best massages in the Philippines. Also, as Marlon noticed that I have an Austrian guest who is a little bit inquisitive about the area, brought us even by himself to the Boulevard as my friend is quite tall for a “tuktuk” (our local Tricicle). I wish UNWND all the success in the world and without a doubt, with Marlon under it’s helm, it will be the top hotel in Dumaguete in due time. Thank you so much for this “unusual “ experience! Very nice swimming pool but there were mosquitoes when we visited. Very charming hotel but noisy because the windows facing the outside are not insulated (quite noisy road with large trucks passing by). Breakfast offering no sweet options. Well located not far from the ports and airport and not far from the city (10 minutes tuk-tuk). Convenient to enjoy Dumaguete and the surrounding area (mountains, waterfalls, hot springs). Good restaurants nearby on foot along the sea.

Last minute rented this place out because I needed a place to stay close to the Oslob Whale Shark Watching and it was one of the best decisions made. It was only a 3 minute car ride away. I was with my family and we rented the 8 beds (4 bunk beds) room. Room was clean, cold, and comfortable. Price came with breakfast too. Definitely worth your money.

The Australian whale is the biggest surprise of this trip! Although not big but especially warm, our dolphin room opens to the beach, and you can enjoy the wonderful sunset and sunrise in the room. Every day with the sound of the waves wake up to sleep, in the afternoon three or five friends slowly sea breeze tea chat, children play in the yard, sometimes run to the beach to pick up shells, sometimes in the pool to play in the water, especially pleasant and happy. Brother Tao and Sister Na are very enthusiastic. They sent us to the pier in the morning. After a day of play, they would put us in advance to relieve the fatigue of the hot springs. They would eat and drink together in the evening and chat. They helped us plan the next day's itinerary, especially Sister Na's cooking skills. It was really great! I really didn't expect to make us feel at home in the Philippines! Play well, eat well, really don't want to go! Come to Duma to really recommend Australian whales! !

expensive! Not worth the price! The sea view room will be booked for 1500rmb on the 5th of October, two months in advance! I went to see the day 1000rmb! Potholes! It doesn't matter! The key is the small bathroom in the room! Not as good as the other seven hundred and one nights I ordered! The swimming pool is also small! A burger 450p! A glass of juice 245p! Never make a bad review! I am giving you the first time! Mainly to remind everyone!

For a 5 star hotel, it doesn’t seem like it is and definitely not worth the price. -Poor amenities (Example, they offer a small thin bar of soap as a body wash. Why wouldn’t they offer liquid body wash? Also, some towels were overused) -They clean the rooms/bathrooms and change your towels after 3 days instead of everyday. There’s no pandemic anymore so why not clean the rooms everyday?! -Good food, but not enough choices for breakfast (Why wouldn’t pancakes be included in the options?Also, the coffee doesn’t taste good - strong and burnt tasting) -Nice staff, but they need more training: ＞Food Service is slow and inefficient. During breakfast and lunch, our food were served after hours of waiting. Some of our orders came incorrectly (not what we ordered). ＞Disorganize and lack in system. ＞They lack in staff both at the front desk and Sans rival Cafe. -They will charge you if you don’t return all your keycards. If this was a true 5 star hotel, you wouldn’t charge your guests for something cheap and disposable. Overall, our stay was ok (big rooms and nice pool), but lacking in amenities and training of staff. There are more cons than pros. Whoever owns this hotel seems like they are saving too much on costs. Never going to stay in any of the Henry Hotels in the Philippines.
