Hotels with Bars in Dumaguete

I love this hotel. i have stayed here now many many times, and i have NEVER had a bad experience, so i thought i would finally write a DESERVED GOOD review. The Hotel is placed right at the heart of Dumaguete, everything you would want is with a few mins of the hotel, the hotel also provides trips to some of the popular tourist attractions. The rooms are always clean and fresh with daily room service, but in my opinion the only thing that lets the rooms down are the showers which sadly could do with more maintenance as often they are faulty in some way and poorly kept looking, but they still provide good supply of hot water. I have stayed in all of the rooms they offer, from their suite to the standard rooms, and all show the same levels of cleanliness and the rooms always feel welcoming. Free breakfast is provided and the restaurant is good and the food well cooked and presented , the hotel provides a full range of pampering service if you require some self indulgence. The staff are ALWAYS friendly polite professional and on hand for any reason and will always make you feel important and a valued guest. I have in all my stays at this Hotel had only ever had one problem which was dealt with professionally, immediately and satisfactorily,. This hotel is ALWAYS my first choice when i visit Dumaguete, and will continue to be so They have plenty of rooms and even as a walk in, i have never been turned away from being fully booked, Its always a pleasure staying here.... The cleanest hotel I have ever been here in Dumaguete. The best place to stay. All staff are very accomodating everybody gives quality service they kept on smiling,friendly and easy to deal with. They have Also restaurant in house. The food is superb 👌 Must try their menu of the day / Bestseller menu ☺️ They make you feel comfortable in All ways. Nothing compares ❤️

All staffs are very nice and accommodating. I asked for a small item and they even bought outside just to accommodate my request. Room is clean. Was not able to try the pool due to busy schedule, the pool has a 4’ depth. Will book this place again next time I visit Dumaguete.

Staff was very friendly and genuine. Breakfast was also really great with 3 options (continental, American and Filipino). There was also possible to adjust a bit like stronger coffee, less baked bacon or 1 egg only. Furniture and decoration is also very beautiful. I also really appreciated the cleaning staff to put of their shoes/slipper when entering the room for cleaning. If I can make a few improvements it is. Bed cover was only 1 sheet. A blanket or a more thick bed cover would be nice. More variety in fridge like cola, diet coke or sprite More punctual in coffee sachets refills and towels (if one is on the ground placed for replacement. But overall it was good value for money Staff always smiled and was friendly. Location is also great. Close to boulevard and 50’meter swimming pool is only 20’minutes walking distance. Don’t forget to give the small local restaurants a try. I really enjoyed the Dumaguete experience also because of you 🙏

Poorly equipped and badly maintained. Not even a tin opener in the kitchen when we arrived, no tumblers, only 3 bowls, no teaspoons. Cooking equipment two camp style pots and a frying pan with a loose handle! Floors filthy, bathroom dirty . Thin sheets over stained and torn mattresses, no sign of mattress protectors. Dangerous electric sockets with exposed wiring. Swimming pool went green for 3 days Staff friendly but obviously are ignorant of acceptable standards and lacking both supervision and guidance.

The hotel is just across Binhai Avenue, and there is a lot of food around, very convenient! However, we just happened to be renovating upstairs when we checked in, and there was a constant noise during the day, because we stayed for one day, so it was just a short while away. By the way, the sound insulation of the room is not very good

We stayed only overnight at this unique beautiful botique hotel as we have to fly the following day to Manila . We were immediately greeted by a very special and charming lady by the name of February, very sweet and charming ! Welcome drink was really timely after 1 hour ride from Zambuanquita where we had our hotel for the Apo island diving the night before. What makes this hotel special is how friendly and accommodating the staff were, not to mention the Philippine hut style “igloo” & beautiful interior design.The role model for how to “treat” a guest is the GM & Operations Manager, Marlon Navarro. I am a Filipino expat who had lived over 40 years in Europe and just on a diving & golf safari with my buddy but I have never seen an “over the top” hospitality from a hotel manager. Marlon answered all our enquiries including where to have a nice dinner, bar to hang out, sightseeing and spa. For spa, don’t miss the hotel spa especially with Jess - one of my best massages in the Philippines. Also, as Marlon noticed that I have an Austrian guest who is a little bit inquisitive about the area, brought us even by himself to the Boulevard as my friend is quite tall for a “tuktuk” (our local Tricicle). I wish UNWND all the success in the world and without a doubt, with Marlon under it’s helm, it will be the top hotel in Dumaguete in due time. Thank you so much for this “unusual “ experience! Very nice swimming pool but there were mosquitoes when we visited. Very charming hotel but noisy because the windows facing the outside are not insulated (quite noisy road with large trucks passing by). Breakfast offering no sweet options. Well located not far from the ports and airport and not far from the city (10 minutes tuk-tuk). Convenient to enjoy Dumaguete and the surrounding area (mountains, waterfalls, hot springs). Good restaurants nearby on foot along the sea.

Being new, the rooms are small, but neat and clean. They are very colourful, as you can see from the photos. There's a rooftop pool, possibly the smallest hotel pool ever, yet quite deep. Good for cooling off and for its views of the city. If there are sufficient guests, breakfast may be a buffet on the top floor, which is quite good. Otherwise, you only get to order a meal and one drink from the cafe next to reception. As is often the case in the Philippines, the choice is extremely limited in that case. It's hard to rate the hotel's value, when these are two vastly different situations. You can have 4 or 5 or more glasses of juice at the breakfast buffet, or only 1 if that's not operating. I'll be generous and rate it very good, but that assumes they supply the decent breakfast. If you get stuck with the cafe breakfast, I'd downgrade it to average.

Comment peut on garder un souvenir désagréable d'un joli petit hôtel ? Très récent, propre et bien agencé ( manque un ascenseur ) Jolie chambre et déco agréable... Personnel appliqué bien qu'un peu inexpérimenté .. Mais alors ? que se passe t il ? Il est nécessaire de remplir une fiche ( un peu brouillonne ) chaque fin de journée pour le breakfast du lendemain ...( il y a deux formules ) Et immédiatement, le matin, jaillit la question : Jus de fruit OU café ? Eh bien nous prenons les deux ! Ce n'est pas possible ... etc .. Un des deux est donc facturé en sus ... ( le plus cher, évidemment ) Impossible d'obtenir de ”vrais” œufs durs ... c'est du ”mollet” un peu... mou ! Au bar, il est possible d'obtenir seulement une imitation de ”mojito” ...mais de toute façon, ils n'ont pas de menthe ... Et surtout, au moment du check-out, la liste des suppléments est là .. le jus de fruit, bien sûr, mais aussi les bouteilles d'eau qui étaient dans la chambre ( gratuites et renouvelées partout ailleurs ) et jusqu'aux ”sticks” de café présents dans la chambre aussi ...le tout dans une ambiance suspicieuse.. Dommage ...
