Dujiangyan Hotels with Breakfast

After climbing Mount Qingcheng, I originally planned to rush back to Chengdu. Because I was a little tired, I simply rewarded myself. I found this hotel online. I saw the introduction of a forest hotel hidden in the mountains. The environment is very beautiful, but the rating is not high for some reason. So I booked the most basic room type of the hotel, the mountain courtyard double bed room, with trepidation. After arriving, both the shuttle bus driver and the front desk clerk had very good service attitudes. They introduced the hotel service facilities in detail, including free Hanfu experience, unlimited Chinese herbal medicine soup pools, dry steaming/wet steaming/sweating, extended breakfast time, private forests, etc. Because I was too tired, I went back to the room and lay down. The bed was very comfortable. I really liked the room decoration. The holiday atmosphere was full. The room was made of natural materials such as logs, bamboo, and terrazzo. I woke up in the morning with the crisp calls of birds. After getting up, I took a walk around the hotel park. The hotel covers a large area and is built on the mountain. It is very private, with pavilions, towers, bridges and flowing water. The environment is very beautiful. The employees I met along the way were all smiling. Breakfast included Zhang Laozao, a specialty snack from Qingcheng Mountain, Yeerba, and baba vegetables grown in the hotel's Happy Farm. After lunch, I returned to Chengdu feeling refreshed. It was an unexpected and unforgettable trip.

Overall great service and good location. Rooms are a bit dated so we had to switch rooms once as the first one has mould. However, the staffs are friendly and the location is good. Shout out to the Chinese Restaurant in the Hotel. Food is top notch and we went twice over the stay . The complementary hot spring is also quite nice. Great selection of pools ( think around 8?). We went twice and the first time was quite crowded. The second time for some reason is empty so we enjoy the quiet time.

Amazing place BUT... Staff could be much better trained for such an upscale hotel/resort, those standing at the entrance. Slow in response, not greeting guests, not giving any directions upon arrival. Could have provided better service by asking guests if they are going to any destinations nearby, inform guests that popular destination such as the Panda attraction needs booking in advance, the spa booking may not have slot best to book before whatever time, etc. Wanted the spa and panda but missed both as we were not told beforehand during conversations and even for the panda only knew it on the 2nd time we enquired.

Dujiangyan Xueyu Potala Hotel. Design and facilities are average. Facing the Paoma River. The air conditioning in the room is master controlled, and the heating is often cut off. You have to go to the front desk to negotiate. The front desk service is very good! Thanks to Xiaotian and Juanzi. If there is a problem, they will help solve it immediately. Before leaving, Xiaotian also sent me to the reserved car. And gave me a small gift. The breakfast service is average, and the food is okay. The dining room is too noisy, and it is not a dedicated restaurant of the hotel. The service at the restaurant bar was very poor for the first three days. On the last day, the bar staff at the dinner room changed, and the service was very good! And arranged for me to dine in a quiet environment. A pleasant dinner, The hotel front desk service is 5 points. The service in the dinner room on the last day is 5 points

From the perspective of individual travelers, this hotel is not a good place to stay. I stayed in the hotel for two days in mid-October, which was not a holiday. Both days were for large groups. The morning bells kept ringing after 6 o'clock in the morning. The soundproofing was not very good, and the Internet speed was very slow. There was no shower in the room, only an old-fashioned bathtub. The breakfast area was small and very crowded. There was no place to sit when eating. The elevator was not available. There were too many people, all groups. The experience was poor. Individual travelers should be careful when choosing.

Stayed 4 night at this hotel on Qing Cheng mountains. 5/5 Concierge was extremely helpful with tendering luggages which was very much needed as some rooms are located on second floor ( no elevator). An assistant was assigned to the room and she (Vicky) could be reached almost 24/7 through texting. I had a small accident in the room first night of my stay and she quickly helped with arranging a different room that was more suited to my needs. She also provided me with first aid etc plus always answer my questions promptly ＜3 Note: breakfast was until 11:30am Has one laundry + dryer machine for hotel guest( free of charge) detergent included Daily replenish water (3 bottles), fruit plate, tea, coffee sachet in the room Hotel rooms, restaurants, hot spring are not in the same structure, requires a short walk outdoor which is very common among hotels on qing cheng mount. Highly recommend eating at the hotel restaurant. Has all the local favorite dishes plus good oil was used. Reasonably priced. They offer free shuttle to train station Hanfu experience was a room with about 50 pieces of hanfu to choose from. For female about 20 -30 pieces, for male about 5 pieces, for kids about 5 pieces.

The room is large, clean, tidy, and well-equipped. You can see the scenery outside the window. The staff is very warm and friendly, and treats customers like family. There are many varieties of breakfast to meet the needs of different customers. The lobby is super grand and the decoration is full of the flavor of the New Year. The front desk staff Xiao Ren and Xiao Ye are very enthusiastic, polite, friendly and thoughtful, and patiently answer various questions. Therefore, my friends and I like to stay at Bailun International Hotel.

A treasure resort hotel found in the back mountain of Qingcheng! It takes only 1.5 hours to drive from Chengdu. The whole hotel is surrounded by bamboo forests and streams. Even breathing is filled with the fragrance of grass and trees, truly realizing the quiet healing of ”isolation from the world”. The butler service makes people feel very considerate. I received warm reminders and route guidance before checking in. When I left the hotel, I was given a snack gift bag. There was also hot milk supply late at night. Such a hot spring hotel full of surprises is worth checking in repeatedly!

I forgot to take pictures of the interior. I am very satisfied. For this price, although the facilities are a bit old, it is really the style of an old-fashioned sanatorium hotel. Although the breakfast may not be very delicious and the decoration is a bit old, the necessary services are still there. The room is very warm (I really care about this when traveling in winter). In addition, the hotel itself has a good green environment and is very quiet. There are some small environments to visit. It's a pity that I didn't experience the hot springs this time. I will try it next time. It is very convenient to walk down from the hotel to eat or drive up to Lingyan Mountain.

The overall experience of this stay was great. The front desk staff was very considerate and the floating breakfast they prepared was also innovative, which added a lot of fun to the journey. However, there are some small details that I would like to share with the hotel, hoping to make the subsequent guests' experience more perfect. There are no clothes hooks around the hot spring pool, which is not very convenient for hanging clothes. It would be great if a few more could be added. In addition, it is recommended that the housekeeper contact the guests in advance to help fill the hot spring pool with water so that you can enjoy the comfort of taking a hot spring bath as soon as you arrive in the room. The delivery time of this breakfast deviated from the original plan. The rice noodles were dry before the hot spring pool was filled with water, which affected the dining experience. I hope that the delivery time can be optimized. I look forward to the hotel getting better and better in the future, and I will choose to stay again next time if I have the chance!
