Very pleasant and charming hotel. Rooms are nice, view is perfect! The most important - the staff is incredible friendly and willing to help in any situation. Highly recommend this place. And I think the hotel has the potential to become 5 star.

We stayed her 4 nights in july out of our 14 days in france. We really liked the hotell, the sourundings and staff working there. Nothing to complain about at all. Rooms were clean. Food was excellent Breakfust just perfect Beach could not be closer and perfect for children. We would love to come back Love from sweden

My daughter and I went for a spa day at the Villa Caroline. We each enjoyed the most perfect massage from Sindy, the beauty therapist. I drifted blissfully as the knots in my muscles melted away under Sindy's magical fingers. We relaxed afterwards in their perfect spa space, complete with sauna and steam room. Before my massage I enjoyed coffee in the gardens which open directly on the lake, with a gate leading to a small beach. The setting looks absolutely perfect. We sadly ran out of time to enjoy a meal but the tables set on the terrace looked so inviting: I am looking forward to going back :)

Beautiful location, but a serious flaw in how the hotel handles early checkouts. We stayed 4 nights in the family apartment — two adults, a toddler, and an infant. The view over the lake and mountains was stunning, and the staff we met during the day were lovely. But our departure was a disaster. We had an early flight and informed reception the day before that we'd be checking out around 6 AM. Since there's no staff or reception service overnight, we were told to just leave the key card on the desk and let ourselves out. At 6:01 AM, the key card stopped working. I had just taken our luggage to the car, and when I went back for the last small bag — which included baby formula and bottles — the door wouldn't open. No staff. No help. No one answered the emergency line. We had to leave without those essentials and scramble to replace them at the airport. This could’ve been much worse — imagine if a child had been left in the room. There is no excuse for a hotel not to have a working system in place for early departures, especially when they've been notified ahead of time. Really disappointing end to an otherwise good stay.

Very nice hotel
Very nice hotel - the room and spa were great! only downside is they don’t have a restaurant for lunch and dinner.
Music in the lobby was incredibly loud, very much a pity when you’re trying to relax… good thing our room was very large and comfortable.

The receptionist and barman were exceptional. First-class professionalism. Will be back soon. We stopped by for a drink and were blown away by the property and facilities. The products used by the hotel are luxurious and the drinks and restaurant are top notch.

At first we went to the clos marcel, asking for a room but were so disapointed with the rudness of a young lady thats seems to be the manager and badly speak to us, fortunately we preferred looking for another place to stay. Thanks god, we found a beautiful gem at la villa caroline. Perfect stay, quiet place, very friendly and helpfull staff. Thank you

Excellent new family owned hotel on the lake of Annecy. Close to the bike path, in the very small quaint town of Duingt. Great place to be by the lake away from the crowds of Annecy. We made good use of the paddle boards. The two restaurants next door were excellent. There is a free bus during the summer that takes you to Annecy. If you need WiFi or want to bring children, be sure to double check before booking. We only stayed as a couple.
