This pub/restaurant is owned by the same person that owns the White Horse at Easton, Suffolk. The food here is really excellent too and a slightly different menu to the White Horse. Food is exceptionally good and generous portions. We ate here twice while in Suffolk and I had a delicious thick plaice with plenty of samphire and new potatoes. My husband enjoyed a duo of pork including vegetables which he said was very tender and beautifully cooked. We also had a Sunday roast dinner and again the beef plentiful so tender and tasty with plenty of veg and Yorkshire pudding. There were other options on the menu apart from a choice of roasts. The staff are young and very pleasant and helpful. We would certainly recommend giving this a try if you are in the area. Two excellent eating establishments and value for money.

Do not rent until the place is cleaned up.
The room was dirty. Food had been left in a closet in a bag and was spoiled and stinky. The microwave was dirty with paper towel still inside. The stove was covered with oil, had not been cleaned. Insufficient pots and pans for a family of 12. The pillow cases were soiled. Plenty of dust through the whole house. The property manager would not return our last text. We requested a credit due to the house being dirty and yet we paid a cleaning fee.

Highly recommended
Fantastic, comfortable and clean property with a lovely view while not being far from a few stores and places to eat. The property manager was very communicative and seemed to really care about the quality of our stay.

Stephanie was great communicating with us prior to arrival, check in and check out were a breeze and the view is INCREDIBLE. The Lodge had everything we needed. This is our go to place to stay in Duck Creek Village and will be back again!

We loved and enjoyed the entire place, very comfortable, great layout, great amenities, great kitchen and bathrooms, great communication with Stephanie. The only issue was the couches - they are obviously very old and unfortunately they smell old. Nothing personal but I avoided sitting on them.

Wonderful place! The property manager was super helpful and we had a smooth check in. We stayed in the bear suite and it was so nice to have all of the space for our family of five adults. Highly recommended!
