Suites are nice. Full size refrigerator is a nice convenience. Check in was a little slow as their reception desk wasn't staffed on arrival. After waiting 10 minutes, i called thir phone but before i coud navigate the voice mail menu the hostess arrived at the desk
Bed was comfortable and room was clean. The pool was drained for a remodel according to the sign on the door. Breakfast was okay. Saturday morning featured pre-made omelets that were a little watery. They don't have the waffle makers like almost every other motel I've stayed. Motel was comfortable, clean and quiet.

We read the reviews and saw the ratings. Being a Hilton we expected more. Had reserved a one bedroom suite for the 3 of us. When we checked in the room was freezing. It’s August! Tried turning the thermostat up but could not maintain. Ended up using blankets. The sofa bed had no bedding - had to call to front desk and go down and pickup personally. The beds were comfortable but the bathroom door could not close more than 1/2 way. Tile floor prevented that. Bathroom had two switches but only one worked. When you turned on light the fan also came on. So sleeping in that room was very difficult. Other Light switches in room did not work either. It was also difficult to get hot water in shower. Shower curtain was moldy. Didn’t use the kitchen except for refrigerator. The room as a whole could use lots of loving care. Even though we were to stay four nights we checked out after one night. The hotel was booked and said they had no other room for the 3 of us. Travelocity was very helpful in speaking with them so we were only charged one night. Will never stay at this property again. Other hotels in area are more favorable

Check in was smooth. Our Rooms were Neat and clean. Only problem was Air conditioner was very loud . We have to turnoff AC . Otherwise room were comfortable. Breakfast was not that good . Other wise staff was nice and cordial. Will try once again if in this Area.

The positive: staff is friendly and accommodating. They are clearly trying to do the right things. Most issues faced have more to do with management and not the staff. Hotel is well located and somewhat isolated from high traffic roads but still with easy access. The negative: did not recognize my HH status. Elevator was not fully operational. Issues with items broken or not functioning (desk chair, refrigerator noise, thermostat, TV cutting in and out) in the room. One day cost for a small pet of $75 was outrageous given the Hilton states in their marketing that they are 'pet friendly.' Nothing provided for the pet for the fee charged. Hotel is gloomy. Better choices, at a lower price point, available in DuBois.

We stayed here for three nights for a softball tournament and had a good overall stay. The hotel lobby and breakfast area is very large and overall the hotel is clean. The rooms were good you can hear people above you walking on the floors and ours walked til midnight and was up at 5:00 so not a lot of peace and quiet. They have a workout room where the TV doesn’t work and a pool. We were there 3 nights and never got cleaning service or fresh towels. We had to go to the front desk to replenish towels and toilet paper and to get sheets and pillows for the pull out sofa. This is the newest most expensive hotel in town and it’s fine but not a lot better than the other ones.

On our way to the Berlin, OH area this was our 2nd stop and a very pleasant stop it was. Just enough off the highway as to not be bothered by the traffic. The place was clean, pleasant, quiet and very friendly. It also was close to a few places to eat, (We really enjoyed Maries Fresh Pasta) which is also nice after a long days drive. The next wrong it was on to Berlin, and very easy to get back on the highway without any issues … a real plus when traveling.

This property was at a good halfway point between home and Philly, so I gave it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was! The front desk staff was welcoming and friendly and the room was nice and very clean. Breakfast was good (typical Homewood). I live a low carb/keto lifestyle and was very surprised to find plenty of snacks in their shop that I could eat. I’m usually not able to get snacks at a hotel, but they had a wide variety of sugar free candy, pork skins, and sugar free soda. I’ve never been anywhere that offered this before and I let the front desk staff know how appreciative I was. She said her manager always tried to stock things that fit into everyone’s lifestyles. That’s a win from me!

Stayed here for one night in October. Good points - The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Bad points - Our room had not been properly serviced before our stay. The dishwasher had not been emptied, a small point but if housekeeping had missed this, then what else had they missed? WIFI was not working, when I spoke with Reception I was advise it had been like this for two weeks! Breakfast was mediocre, the Bakery selection was almost empty and not replenished while we sat in the breakfast area. I raised all these complaints with the hotel at the time, but because I had booked through an online travel agency, they said they would have to contact the agency to discuss compensation. Two weeks later, still nothing so emailed Hilton customer service and was told I would get a respond within 3 days. Seven days later, no response so I emailed again. I then got an email asking for details of my complaint, despite giving them my complaint reference. I eventually got a reply from Hilton stating that because I didn’t book directly with them, there was nothing they could do! Their hotel - their service failure, their loss of any future bookings from me.
