I stayed for four nights with my teenage daughter on a mother-daughter trip. Got a great rate booking a few months in advance, and I am so impressed with the value received for the price. We were given a room with two beds on the top floor facing the courtyard- it was quiet and comfortable. I brought earplugs after reading some reviews about noise, but we didn’t need them. The bathroom was updated and the shower was great- hot and nice pressure. The beds were a little “creaky” but comfortable, and the linens were cozy. The hotel staff were helpful, the restaurant was good for breakfast (although we chose to eat elsewhere most mornings) and Darkey Kelly’s pub on the first floor had great food and music. The location is fantastic- we were able to walk pretty much anywhere we wanted to go. I really can’t find a single fault with this hotel for the price. Would definitely stay again.

Last time I stayed here ( about 6 years ago?) room was dirty so have not been back again until three weeks ago. Location is superb right at the edge of Temple bar along the River Liffey -downside its a party area so like most Hotels in this area dont plan to sleep until late as lots of noise from bars etc. Room was lovely with lots of nice touches -only big issues I had was in 12c Dublin coming from 32c Jakarta and central heating did not work-you have to call reception to get it switched on then it cuts off every hour and does not work again until you call reception-totally unacceptable for a 5 star Hotel . Ended calling them five times so not much sleep!! It was a Tuesday night so looked like one of the bars in the Hotel was shut-but lots outside anyhow. Did not have breakfast as last time I did was served-took ages and was cold-judging by recent reviews on tripadvisor looks like this still. Reception on check in and out would not win any prizes for their hospitality and were just ok-could learn from The Morrison across the river where I stayed a few nights earlier -genuine hospitality. Would I stay there again -NO -leave it to Bono and the locals -heat is a basic requirement as is hospitality-better Hotels for the same or less money to be had in Dublin City.

The house is small, but the facilities are complete and there is a kettle to boil water. Good location Just on the main street, walk to Trinity College for 5 minutes, go to the shopping festival for 5 minutes, and be close to the bar street.

Stayed here in Dec 2020 when Ireland was still under Covid restrictions. We availed of the offer Dublin for Dubliners which gave a free room when 2 people booked to bring up to 2 friends with you. We didn't leave the hotel. From arrival to departure the hotel felt extremely safe and spotlessly clean. A manager knocked into the room to ensure everything was ok and we were happy with everything. The decor and finishes of the rooms are top endm with little quirky pieces like record player in room and a great music selection. We ate in the restaurant and the food was absolutely gorgeous. I'm looking forward to going back as soon as I can (booking is already made but covid impacting dates) to enjoy the fabulous food. We also sampled more than enough of the cocktail menu and all were proper well mixed drinks, not syrupy rubbish. For me the standout part of the stay was the staff, from reserving the room, check in staff, servers in the restaurant and bar, night staff, every single one of them was friendly, smiley, polite with the right level of interaction. This made our stay. We stayed here so that we could meet up in a safe way and have a nice meal and drinks and retire to our rooms for a few more drinks limiting our contacts. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning. Next stop is the penthouse!!

Stayed there when passing through Dublin one night. Hotel is really nice -location superb along the river Liffey -walking distance to most tourist spots. Staff on check in and out excellent -could not have ben friendlier, Hotel decor really cool. Room absolutely lovely -plus very quiet-decor superb, great tv channels, great lighting etc. Only issues were with Wifi ( hard to connect -then in the morning no wifi) -Aircon very noisy -its Ireland so not necessary anyhow-switched off and opened window. I did not eat in the Hotel as had travelled from Asia and on a different time zone food wise--but food menu looked superb and reasonably priced. I will stay there again

Clean and tidy, nice decor and decent sized rooms. We went in the middle of a heatwave and with most UK and Irish hotels there is no need to aircon so we were roasting in the room. The window open all day and night and a fan on but still the room was like a sauna. The location was great, not in the heart so quieter on an evening but close enough to trot to a local bar and enjoy all the action. Staff were really helpful, polite and kind. I would definitely stay again.
