Nice hotel. Had a great rate through my corporate account, so we couldn’t complain. Location was perfect and an easy walk to everything we needed to do in the city. About 30 minutes (€25-€30 euro taxi ride) from the airport. We did arrive early and, even though our exact room was ready early, they wanted us to pay €30 to get in the room before 4pm. So we walked around and came back while they stored our suitcases. Ordered food to our room twice & everything was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had a great view of Christs Church

I visited the clink I lar hostel with two of my friends in February 2024. Now the staff was really friendly and lovely and the location was great. However, I was in a mixed room (with mostly men) because we were a group of 2 girls and one guy and the room was disgusting. There was absolutely no ventilation, windows didn’t open and there was no air conditioning so the room stank of body odour and sweat! It was very unpleasant… The bed layout was also really strange, two of the bunk bed sets, the ones at the corner of the room were sort of connected which meant that the man sleeping in the bed next to mine could just move his curtain and look into my bed, which he did and made me feel really uncomfortable. Other than that during our stay the kitchen was out of order which was also incredibly inconvenient because Dublin is so expensive. So in conclusion I would not really recommend if you’re a woman/queer person unless you stay in a private room or woman only room.

Point A Hotel, what can I say. Well presented inside and out, the access to bedrooms locked behind a key card, the bar and breakfast area also immaculate. As you enter your bedroom it is well organised and has everything you need. The bed was a firm mattress but that was perfect, a surprised samsung 43” TV was waiting to be watched from the wall. With LED strip lights and mode lights all around the room and a decent air con to go with. The room had a safe but i never needed to use it. The one LED strip light on the curtain track was losing its stick and i had to reattach it everytime the curtains where opened. Speaking of which the arrangement I felt was weird as it typically goes curtain than net curtain from inside looking out, this hotel went net curtain then curtain. Maybe you do get some rooms with a view, i most certainly did not, considering how close it is to the heart of the city and Temple Bar. My window view consisted of an opposite rooms window and exterior build walls and a steep drop down below. If you are looking for a well presented hotel with decent sleep quality, this hotel is for you, if you are on your own this hotel may not be for you, due to its lack of hot meals at breakfast and throughout the day. For a hotel at £180 a night, you could easily get a hotel with a hot food breakfast and evening meals nearby, the price structure like the rest of Dublin is overpriced for what it is, one of the cheaper priced hotels but still not worth the price. The breakfast was ”okay” you had a selection of 2 cheeses, 3 sandwich meats, 3-5 pastry options like pain au chocolat, croissants, scones, sausage rolls and mini bread rolls / baguettes. Was some cereal options too, a choice between orange juice, apple juice and ice water, then your usual hot drinks choice. It was all fresh and well presented, i just wish it had a cooked option too. In terms of location, ignoring the building opposite that was a form whiskey shop. It was great, right around the corner from O'connell Street, where it was incredibly busy, multiple shopping centre esque buildings along each side street, with id say 10 minutes you can be in Temple Bar area on the South Side of the River by foot. With such easy access to trams, buses, taxis near enough on your doorstep, and the far enough away from Temple Bar to not hear it, but close enough to go there was ideal. In quiet traffic from the airport you can make it in 15minutes. So to summarise, it was a good, but overpriced

I had to find a Hotel quickly in Dublin as my regular place was sold out. This was an incredible surprise. The rooms are advertised as smaller but honestly even though they are not large they are so well laid out it seemed much larger than it was. It had most everything I am used to such as a refrigerator, Hot water electric pot, a place to set my luggage on and hang up my clothes. It even had a decent sized shower and bathroom area. It has a good sized room safe, a fold down area for a laptop and quite a large flat screen Television with a good number of channels. The place seemed like new and was immaculate. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good and well worth the price. Tucked away a few steps off the main drag so it was quiet as well.

Hostels around the world need to take note of what a real hostel is — and that's Jacobs Inn Hostel in Dublin. Located in the center of Dublin and easy to locate, you're greeted with friendly, warm staff who can help you with anything you need. Advice on landmarks, restaurants, events, they have an answer. The commons area is packed full of people working, socializing or just simply relaxing. Music is not too loud so communicating and working is made easy. It's very atmospheric and it's a great place to make new friends on your travels. It's amazing decorated and their bar/dining area is incredible. Breakfast is served and you're offered a good variety to choose from. The rooms, or pods, are clean, well-maintained and the bathrooms are neat. You're afforded privacy in a modern fashion.

The hotel is beautiful, with new facilities and very well decorated. The location is great too. It is close to the center, but in a neighboring neighborhood, where it is more peaceful and quiet. The entire team is very helpful and friendly. They welcomed us with a complimentary bottle of water, as well as coffee capsules and tea options too. The rooms in the category we took are not large, but they suit a couple very well.

Cost-effective hotel Clean and quiet. The location is also very private. The traffic is very convenient. The 15-way car outside the door goes directly to the city center. If the taxi is about 10 yuan, it can be. I want to be this hotel next time.

Super location, quiet but with the tram on the doorstep to get out and about in Dublin. Apartment absolutely fantastic with Smeg appliances, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge with freezer, microwave grill and two ring halogen hob. Large glass window (no opening) we had good view of the river Liffey. King size bed with more than enough bedding - please note the bed is very low, just off the ground so could present difficulties for some people getting in and out. The Apartment block was big but there was very little noise. The blackout cutains were stuck to the wall on each side eliminating any light coming through when closed, a nice touch, assisting with a good night's sleep. The Apartment had a 48inch 360 degree turning Samsung TV with an acceptable number of channels. The bathroom was of a good size with a super walk in shower. Soap etc was provided. Our visit was for one week and the Apartment was cleaned and towels/bedding changed on the fourth day. Limited tea and coffee was present upon arrival but the friendly receptionist did stress that if we needed anything then please ask which we did and more tea etc was provided. There was enough storage space for our clothes for the week. In the wardrobe was a safety deposit box, free of charge, plenty big enough for any valuables, passports etc. A big bonus was that we arrived at 1230hrs expecting to leave our cases there but fortunately were able to be booked in and have access to our room immediately.

From booking our stay to checkout, our entire experience was excellent. This is a 4 star, airport hotel, yes... but it's park location, proximity to the city and decor that would be at home in a gorgeous boutique hotel makes for an altogether elevated experience. Nadia could not have done more for us when we called to book and she really set the standard from the get go. Check in was smooth and pleasant and while the room was probably one of the last ones that hasn't been renovated it was huge, clean, comfortable, stylish (maybe very slightly dated) and had everything we could possibly need. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable, the shower pressure was good and the toiletries were all lovely. The little room snacks were also high quality and very nice. Every other member of staff we interacted with was extremely professional and personable, especially the waiting staff in the bar, where were had 2 very nice coffees. The breakfast was also extremely good and checkout was quick and painless. A taxi to the Grafton St area will set you back about €20 and the number 16 bus goes by, just outside the park very regularly. The parking facilities are excellent and the airport shuttle is incredibly convenient, modern and very clean. It's such a good all rounder. I could not recommend this hotel highly enough. I think this is the best value 4 Star in Dublin.

GGuest UserWe booked the Wilder last minute. The location is central but also not right in the middle so it was nice to chill away from the hustle and bustle of town yet it was easy to walk to. The staff were very easy to deal with and the cleaners and room staff were lovely and really helpful as were the bar staff. The complimentary gin and tonic, and the turn down room service in the evening were a lovely touch. The two next door rooms decided to have a party at about 1145 which went for half an hour so i called reception and they quickly contacted the rooms, and I was able to get to sleep. The ONLY thing i would say is we upgraded our room but our shower was tiny, im 6ft 2 so thought it was me but even my wife who is 5'5 found it hard to move in the thing. Apart from that I would recommend it to anyone as a perfect place for couple of business trips.

SSteven FaganThe junior staff were amazing, senior staff were up themselves, location was great hotel was clean. The dining area was too small and for a 4 star hotel I would've expected my breakfast served, not help yourself style you would find at a travel lodge. In short over priced rooms no lesuire facilities and for 4 mojitos cost €50 I've had better value for money elsewhere. First and last time I will stay here!!!

GGuest UserWell where do I start?… arriving early to the hotel we had expected to wait sometime before being able to go to our room. Dylan kindly said the room would be ready in 10 minutes, so we went to the bar, had a drink and then when the room was ready Dylan came back over to let us know. We then met Ana, Giannina and Adrian who really could not have done any more to make the check in process any easier, building our excitement all the time! We were lucky enough to stay in one of the Suites and there are no words, the room was spotless, beautiful and probably the best location we could have wished for. Thank you for making the experience so wonderful and a special mention to Dylan, Ana, Adrian and Giannina.

IIrish Global TrotterI recently had the pleasure of staying at Premier Suites Ballsbridge, and it was an outstanding experience. The location is ideal, situated in the charming and upscale Ballsbridge area, offering easy access to Dublin's city centre and various attractions. The suite itself was impeccably clean, spacious, and well-appointed with modern amenities that made my stay extremely comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met promptly. GGuest UserI paid for my granddaughter to stay at the Gresham for a weekend as a birthday treat. (She was 21). She took her boyfriend in tow and this is a first hand review from them - coz the family all know I love putting reviews on. I do think people deserve them. The check in was very quick and efficient. The staff were lovely they said. The room was more than they expected, the hotel had upgraded them to a superior king on the request of Vincenzo (the reservation supervisor) - what a lovely man..! I had spoke to him personally the week before and he upgraded them without being asked. The room was warm, comfortable and so very noticeably clean. The couple were so impressed with everything. I’m told the best thing (which could not fit into a suitcase) was the shower cubicle. Jack in 6ft 4ins and was thrilled to be able to stand up in the shower. A simple thing but important for taller people. The bed was long enough for him too. They did have a meal in the restaurant that first evening and when I asked for a score out of 10 for the food I was told 50/10…. You can see the photos and although the quantity might not be overwhelming the steak was so perfect, the fish so fresh that the plates were cleared and they said they were stuffed.! So, two nights in the hotel, two breakfasts that were also hot, well cooked and a great choice of continental and main. Not one complaint. mmmm well, maybe one. It seems the housekeeping do start early and woke our couple up both days but sure that got them on the move for breakfast. So, this is where I thank the hotel for giving my granddaughter a lovely, homely time. If she had been disappointed I would be writing something different without question. Now the rest of the family can’t wait to go - it’s been a while since we were there. It’s also lovely to know the Gresham still has its long time great reputation.

GGuest UserWe had previously stayed in this hotel with our son when we were in Blanchardstown for a rugby event. This time my wife and I spent a night in the hotel to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. I had told Graham who was the reception manager about our anniversary and he arranged for chocolates and cake to be delivered to our room. Graham also arranged for us to have a Premium room, which was beautifully decorated. We spent a lovely day in Blanchardstown and enjoyed having breakfast in the room, which was first class and piping hot. I can not recommend this hotel highly enough and have already done so to my friends, we will definitely return!

GGuest UserLast time I stayed here ( about 6 years ago?) room was dirty so have not been back again until three weeks ago. Location is superb right at the edge of Temple bar along the River Liffey -downside its a party area so like most Hotels in this area dont plan to sleep until late as lots of noise from bars etc. Room was lovely with lots of nice touches -only big issues I had was in 12c Dublin coming from 32c Jakarta and central heating did not work-you have to call reception to get it switched on then it cuts off every hour and does not work again until you call reception-totally unacceptable for a 5 star Hotel . Ended calling them five times so not much sleep!! It was a Tuesday night so looked like one of the bars in the Hotel was shut-but lots outside anyhow. Did not have breakfast as last time I did was served-took ages and was cold-judging by recent reviews on tripadvisor looks like this still. Reception on check in and out would not win any prizes for their hospitality and were just ok-could learn from The Morrison across the river where I stayed a few nights earlier -genuine hospitality. Would I stay there again -NO -leave it to Bono and the locals -heat is a basic requirement as is hospitality-better Hotels for the same or less money to be had in Dublin City.

PPhotoguyThe location is great, super close to the center and transit. The staff are friendly enough, and the room is clean. There are some things that could be fixed, for example, the water pressure is not that strong, but it’s fine for a shower, just not super strong. The pillows are a little stiff. The wall outlets are the standard three prong, but the bathroom is two prong, but the hair dryer they have doesn’t fit the bathroom outlet. The last thing…I booked a standard double, as the pictures showed a room within a table and a couch, with a larger bathroom…my room had none of those. Only reason I didn’t talk to the staff is because I know they would say, “the pictures are just an example, and rooms vary” so it wasn’t worth complaining about, but disappointing since I paid more for a double, but pretty certain I got a single. But the room is clean, and the location is good. For the price, it’s acceptable.

GGuest UserWe arrived on time and there were only 3 car parking spaces outside, one of which was taken up by a service vehicle which had been there for five days and management hadn't bothered trying to move it. There are no staff on site and we were promised a code by email to get into the hotel but it never arrived. Eventually we got one by phoning a mobile number. The website told us we could get in to our room at 2pm but the cleaner didn't finish cleaning it until 3.30pm. The room was shabby and dusty and three storeys up with no lift and the beds were uncomfortable. The cost of a twin room with no breakfast was a ridiculously expensive 350 euros. The only facilities downstairs were a fridge and a microwave. At 9.45am, the cleaner rapped our bedroom door and asked us to leave. Check-out time was 10am. The so-called free Wifi didn't work. We met four other couples who were equally disgusted and frustrated. Avoid this hotel which is more like a badly run hostel.

GGuest UserHaving read all the previous reviews on this hotel, we weren’t quite sure what to expect. We weren’t expecting much more than the reviews has suggested- a noisy night in an old run down hotel. Everyone else had made it sound like a dingy little hotel that was loud and not up to standard. To our pleasant surprise, it was actually a lovely place to stay. The rooms were spotless clean, with comfortable beds, tv, kettle, sitting area and plenty of space. Bathrooms were also spotless, again with plenty of space and a nice shower. The reception staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. The manager of the hotel happened to be there on the night (New Years Eve 2022) and informed us that it was the first night in almost 3 years that the hotel had opened its doors again to guests. It became clear at this point that maybe the hotel had done some renovating to refresh the place. It is a lovely hotel, can’t fault the staff, the rooms, or the location. It is based on one of the most popular streets in city centre for young adult night life and is waking distance (5 minutes) to St.Stephen’s Green, restaurants, bars, shops, etc. The luas is also right on your doorstep. Unlike other guest reviews, we didn’t suffer from any loud noises or the music from the nightclub below us. They do provide complimentary ear plugs for all guests in the rooms, however, we didn’t need them thankfully. Again, possibly an improvement that was made. The only thing we do recommend, is that they make some modern improvements to the lift, which is a 2 person lift, very small and slow; and that they improve on the breakfast layout, perhaps a buffet style along with the continental breakfast in a more suitable room rather than one of the back function rooms. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would stay here again.
