Beautiful Hotel. Floor boards, nooks and crannies. Wanted to run away with the old record player in Reception. Friendly young man at reception. Easy check in. Room gorgeous. Bathroom spectacularly clean. Towels like new. Loads of shampoo etc. Kettle in the room, no tea bags though, just coffee. Bed really comfortable and crisp white sheets. Couldn't turn television on but didn't care. I thought I turned heat on but room was chilly when I arrived back, too tired to care but would need help otherwise. Great shower. Round the corner for Breakfast and I got a huge omelette with lovely buttery gluten free bread, I am Coeliac so that was another plus for me. Lovely Staff there as well. If you are annoyed by loud music this is not the place for you as it can be clearly heard in room 3. Earplugs provided though. A great hotel for younger people. So lively. I would love to stay here again in a different room each time😁, just want to see them all. Very good value and 2 car parks around the corner.

The hotel is in a great location, lots of bars, restaurants, shops and bus stops just outside the door. The room was cosy and the bed very comfy. Bathroom was clean. The only thing I would suggest, please get curtains!! The room was so bright. Luckily I'd read past reviews and we brought a stick on blackout blind but other than that the room would have been completely bright. There is just a blind that doesn't keep out any light. Staff very friendly and overall we had a great experience, would definetly return!

Stayed in top floor room 16 Pros: Great location Great bed, lovely duvet Staff really helpful Cons: Water to room , hot and cold, stopped several times Window painted open Blind broken Room not finished to good standard (craked tiles, shower head had a mind of its own, paint on carpet from painting skirting boards)

Scruffy room, black mouldy shower tray, broken window blinds. 2nd night at 11pm of stay no water from the shower or the taps. Reception staff that are incapable if ordering a taxi at the correct time. We had to pay 15 euros for breakfast over and above the £205 paid per night. Total rip off and if you want a night's sleep that won't happen to poor windows and no sound proofing. So disappointing.

Hotel itself very central Easy check in Small but clean rooms Coffee and tea provided Lots of stairs to rooms We were warned there would be noise due to location and being New Years eve i was prepared for some noise from the underground bars until 3 maybe even 4am but it was so loud it didnt seem like windows were shut and the bed was thumping along with the beat. What i was not prepared for was people running round the hotel screaming and shouting until just after 6am and nothing being done about it. Far to loud and noisey for me would not stay again

We stayed in room 17 which they claim is their quietest room. It was not quiet and we heard the nearby bar music thumping well into the early morning, even with having a sound machine. Toilet didn’t flush half the time. There was a portable standing AC unit that piped out through an open window that you could not close. Room was too warm even after they supposedly turned off the heat but they instead turned up the heat. When we said we couldn’t stay because of the noise, they said “we warned you.” They refused to refund the rest of our stay, which was another four nights. I thought it was a bad sign when we saw earplugs next to the bed on the nightstand. I couldn’t imagine it being that bad. DO NOT STAY HERE. Unless of course you do not want to sleep!

Just way too noisy and bright! Very central heritage building and street facing over a bar with all the expected noises. What it makes particularly disappointing though is the fact that the hotel have made no effort to mitigate that. It’s single glazed with no additional noise barrier you see elsewhere. It was so noisy the first night I thought window was open! The window also just has Venetian blinds and the room is never dark. Other rooms may be better away from the street but my room, 1st floor/street facing was probably the worst possible combination.

We stayed there for 2 nights with another couple and rated it very average . We paid for a deluxe upgrade room which was still very small and on the third level away from most of the noise from the bars below which stay open very late . The towels were old and needed replacing and the air conditioning was a portable unit that’s inlet was just stuck out the window. Access to all rooms was via stairs as there is no lift and the room lighting was very poor. On a positive note the position is great and the breakfast that was included was good value for money . However if we are back in Dublin I am sure we won’t be staying there again as there will be better options for the money we paid .

We had a good deal on this very central hotel. The room was a good size but on the top floor with many steps. It is noisy outside but once we had closed the window and shutters we weren't disturbed all night in the very comfy bed. The next morning there was an excellent breakfast included which would have cost about €28 separately. Annoyingly, our room was not serviced during the day. When I complained I was told I should have put the 'make up the room' sign. I have never had to do this at any other hotel before and no mention was made that we should. Disappointing.
