Bus no.16 can reach hotel from Dublin Airport. Just 1 minutes walk from bus stop. Hotel staffs are very nice and helpful. Delicious breakfast with beautiful surroundings.

I checked in on the 13,spent 2 days ..lovely friendly staff clean ,food was nice also the music in the nights in the restaurant..but just one complaint,I did not have any hot water to shower for the two days which was a big disappointment..

Location, service, cleanliness and amenities were very good. However, the building itself is probably old, and every time someone on the upper floor walked, the room shook with a creaking noise, and I woke up frequently in the middle of the night. It may be an exaggeration, but at first I thought it was an earthquake. We think that room in front of elevator may be considerably noisy. My room was a single standard, so it may be different in a different grade room.

The sliding window in the bathroom did not close properly there was a 2 cm opening that let cold air through
It was very cold in the bathroom
Besides, it was impossible to have cold water at the shower tap
The water was hot
I stayed 2 nights
I reported these inconveniences to reception and hotel management on the second morning
Nothing was done
I did not receive a response to my email to management
I had already spent 2 nights in this hotel 2 years ago
At the time there was painting work and you had to step over scaffolding to access the bedroom
In short I do not recommend this hotel

Ottima posizione, silenziosa e tranquilla poiché ubicato a 800 mt circa da Temple Bar ma facilissimo da raggiungere, via O'Connel Street. La zona è comoda anche a negozi e pub non turistici e più economici. Colazione abbondante e varia, possibile scegliere tra Irish breakfast e International breakfast, ottime entrambe. Tutti i giorni rassettano la camera e cambiano gli asciugamani. Manca un po' di attenzione all'igiene e ai dettagli perché ho trovato un oggetto lasciato da precedenti clienti e un capello nella griglia del lavandino in bagno.
Nel complesso sono molto soddisfatto, ci tornerei volentieri e mi sento di raccomandare il Castle Hotel in Dublin.

Our group of 10 stayed in 4 rooms. The family room for 4, great setup with a queen and two twin beds. The hotel had lots of different sitting rooms that you could relax in or use while waiting for others in your group. The staff was helpful calling taxis when needed or suggesting which hop-on hop-off bus company to select. The location was nice and quiet, but it was a bit of a walk to South Dublin (15-20 minutes) but easy enough to find a taxi on the days we didn't want to walk. The Irish breakfast in the Castle Vaults was very good, but we preferred the continental breakfast upstairs.

This is what USA guests would refer to as a boutique hotel. Complicated to find one's room, as the floors are not on a consistent plane. The first room had no hot water; we were moved the next day of our three day stay. The continental breakfast was very good, but the main dining fare was forgetable. The staff, on the other hand, were excellent;knowledgeable, helpful, and efficient. Of particular mention is Jasmina, waitress, bartender, and conversationalist. But for the dining, this would rate a 5/5 for value.
