Booked for 2 nights and arrived early for check in. Jack, the owner, greeted us with a smile and could not have been more hospitable. He invited us to enjoy coffee and continental breakfast while we waited for our rooms. Our rooms (2 couples) were nicely appointed, clean and very comfortable beds. Breakfast was very good. The location of the B&B is in a nice quiet residential area and short walk to bus. Jack and his sweet puppy Ted, were just the best hosts! Would definitely stay here again. Fagans Restaurant is a short stroll from this B&B and it was also very good.

The room was beautiful and very clean. The host was there to greet us and showed how everything works. Breakfast was great also. The best thing about Avoca House were the friendly owners who helped with everything and made us feel very welcome.

The owners were awesome, so personable and helpful. For an American, our room and bathroom in the 3rd floor was a little tight on space but manageable. Breakfast invluded homemade strawberry jam and homemade molasses-sweetened bread!

We really enjoyed our stay at Avoca B &B - hosted by Jack and Chilli. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the bed and pillows were super comfortable. Jack was a friendly and helpful host and Chilli made us smile everyday. We had easy free street parking close by. The breakfast was tasty, with lots of options. Definitely recommend staying here.

Jake and his family are just amazing -incredibly helpful and friendly. We were in a difficult situation when we arrived as our daughter's accomodation in a different part of the city ( for 3 months) turned out to be a nightmare. Thanks to Jack and his family's support everything is fine now and our daughter is safe and sound in a lovely flat. We can't express how thankful we are!!!! Thank you so much!! Our room in Avoca house was absolutely tidy and very cosy and quiet!!! We immediately felt at home. Apart from that, breakfast was included in the price and really good. We are looking forward to coming back soon.

This was a quaint townhouse located in the suburbs of Galway. The hostess was warm and friendly. She offered a map and great suggestions of places to visit and eat. The food was delicious and there was plenty to eat. The place was easy to find and free parking.
