The breakfast was generous n had good choices. The breakfast staff were friendly n helpful. The chef was ever busy with ensuring the food was enough n replenished in time. The ensuite bathroon/toilet was small to cater for 8 people as we had to wait for each other to finished before one can use it. There were outside common toilet n bathroom but they too had challenges. The dining room was a maze to get to it cos you had to work your way to it, up n down, turning right n left. There was no lift to a 4-5 old storey building so big heavy luggage will hv a challenge ! Not to mention the small steps for the big feet.

The hostel is very clean. It's my first time staying in a youth hostel. It's very quiet and peaceful. I had a full breakfast. The location of the hostel is super good. The bar next to it is super big. There is a big stage and the atmosphere is super good.

The location of this hostel is unbeatable! We stayed in 4-beds mixed room with private bathroom which was nice. The staff is very nice and helpful and the breakfast has all what may be needed. Great place for a weekend stay! The beds were comfy and the bedlinen was great quality! We had to pay for the towels (3 euros) which I haven't experienced for long time but they were clean and soft so I cannot complain. Overall we very very satisfied with the stay but there are some points which could be improved: the room was getting very hot during the night. Also, opening the window was a bit heavy and complicated. The shower door was not closing properly so the floor was getting completely wet when someone was taking a shower and also shower drain was clogged so it was taking some time to wait for the shower after other person. Our room was at 1st floor so we could hear all noises from the street during most of the night.

Stayed here last night for a fly in fly out of Dublin came over for the Dublin Derby football match. Great location for everything from transport to shopping . The staff are so nice and helpful . Check in check out was super easy . Rent a towel for €3 as we only traveled with a back pack. Continental breakfast was nice no limit to what u can have but seating due to the business of the hostel is only 20 mins. The rooms are dark but lit to some limit. We stayed in 10 dorm room in bunk beds which were comfortable. Showers are clean and looked after. CCTV everywhere for ur safety Women only showers/ toilets too. Non of this mixed gender craziness. €34 we paid for the night . Definitely stay there more often.

Seamless check in. Friendly staff. Clean toilets. Stayed in female dorm, it was hot in Dublin and the windows opened less than an inch. 2 fans for 10 people, didn't cool me down. So a very sweaty night and the room was full of stinky feet! Sockets and space to charge at bunk beds. Storage of bags at reception for €3. Excellent location.

I stayed at Abbey Court when my other accommodation fell through; the place was recommended to me by other travelers I met, literally, on the street, who'd just left there. The staff were all friendly and helpful; a lot of the information someone staying there would need, e.g., check-in, check-out times, wifi password, breakfast info, etc., was posted on the wall above and behind the sign-in desk, which was helpful. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable enough. They have a lounge with a big-screen TV, a bar and a drinks machine; a games room with decks of cards and a pool table, among other things; and a breakfast room that is well-organized. The price was very reasonable and, being right on the Liffey, the location was ideal for catching buses, shopping and sightseeing. In other words, lots of reasons to recommend this place!

The main appeal of this place was the location, which is really central, and within walking distance of most attractions. On the Liffey itself it was easy to locate, and a very short walk to bus stops serving the airport shuttle. Abbey Court is what you can expect from a hostel, if you're comfortable with the communal experience you should be happy here. The staff were friendly, if not a little mistrusting, we were subjected to a thorough room check upon checking out, though given how wonderfully cheap this place is, I wouldn't be surprised if they have had unpleasant surprises left by unsavoury guests in the past. So I totally understand all that, and the rationale behind the perfectly reasonable set of rules, which are made clear and easy to understand. Breakfast was a nice touch with a decent continental range, and the games room and cinema room were good additions even if we didn't use them. All facilities were kept nice and tidy. The storage situation with cages under the beds seemed a bit dicey, but it worked a treat, and it's probably common procedure, I'm just not overly familiar with hostels. Overall, a pleasant and affordable stay in the heart of Dublin :)
