Stayed here last week before a concert, and flying out the day after. We booked two rooms, a family room and a double room for my elderly mother. When we checked in, the air conditioning in the family room was not working. It was one of the hottest days of the year, so we called reception who sent someone up. They couldn’t understand the fault code and said there was nothing they could do so they said they’d bring a portable AC unit. They came back shortly after with a tiny, I mean tiny desk plugin fan as they couldn’t find the AC unit. Unacceptable considering we paid almost €250 for the night for the room. If it wasn’t for the cleaning lady, who made it her business to insist BOTH rooms were moved to another floor with working AC. She was AMAZING. I really don’t recall her name but I think it was Anna - we stayed on Thursday 20th June so hotel management can identify her that way. Reception didn’t really seem interesting but Anna personally did. She arranged for the rooms to be moved and even carried our stuff between all the rooms too! She deserves a raise. Please pass the note to her manager.

Exceptional good location. You can walk to Temple bar and O’Connell Street within 15 min while you can also be relax near the riverside. The services are very good and the staff are all friendly and helpful, in particular the receptionist at the front desk ,Valentina, who is extremely helpful. Deeply appreciated the services.

We had previously stayed in this hotel with our son when we were in Blanchardstown for a rugby event. This time my wife and I spent a night in the hotel to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. I had told Graham who was the reception manager about our anniversary and he arranged for chocolates and cake to be delivered to our room. Graham also arranged for us to have a Premium room, which was beautifully decorated. We spent a lovely day in Blanchardstown and enjoyed having breakfast in the room, which was first class and piping hot. I can not recommend this hotel highly enough and have already done so to my friends, we will definitely return!

A wonderful stay and what a lovely welcome by Fion , looked after our luggage while we checked in at reception with John who was made for this job ! such a nice welcome also , thanks John and Fion. Trinity City Hotel is excellently located in the heart of Dublin, so for that I give it 5 stars. It has a fancy, almost glitzy lobby, and the staff are nice. But there was a problem that was difficult to overcome. The duvet (the bed cover) was oversized and bulky and made it too hot to sleep. And the pillows were fat as pigs. I tried (had to call front desk four different times within a six hour period) to get a lightweight cover of some sort and a flatter pillow, without any success. I tried to cool down the room by opening the window but it was ”fixed” so that I could only open it about three inches (to prevent people jumping out, I suppose). In the end I just stripped off the duvet cover (essentially the thickness of two bedsheets) and used that to cover me. For such a nice hotel, you'd think they'd be able to accommodate people who don't want to roast in the duvet or sleep at a 45 degree angle with the fat pillows. I hope someone in the hotel management sees this and they buy some lightweight blankets and some normal sized pillows.

Stayed there when passing through Dublin one night. Hotel is really nice -location superb along the river Liffey -walking distance to most tourist spots. Staff on check in and out excellent -could not have ben friendlier, Hotel decor really cool. Room absolutely lovely -plus very quiet-decor superb, great tv channels, great lighting etc. Only issues were with Wifi ( hard to connect -then in the morning no wifi) -Aircon very noisy -its Ireland so not necessary anyhow-switched off and opened window. I did not eat in the Hotel as had travelled from Asia and on a different time zone food wise--but food menu looked superb and reasonably priced. I will stay there again
