The Palms Dubbo

The accommodation boasts clean, spacious rooms with excellent customer service and a convenient location near the town center and attractions. Some guests appreciated the comfortable beds and excellent showers.

This motel has an incredibly friendly and helpful staff. It is located in a nice area, walking distance to almost everything except the zoo which is only a few minutes away by car. The rooms are spacious (if a little outdated).

After looking at the website it looked like a nice place. i’ll start with the pros of the motel. the location was good very central to get around. the bed was comfortable and pillows as well. the bathroom was updated and had good water pressure. now the cons 1)there was no bbq area like it states on the website. all u had was a old microwave and toaster. and a jug. 2)the netflix and wifi didn’t work. so another false statement on the website. 3)there was no rail to help u in and out of the pool. even though it was nice to have a swim and refresh. 4) they would turn the ac off while u we’re out on 38-40 degree day. 5) even though the man was nice after hearing him talk to a couple of ladies about cooking outside there room on a electric grill. we weren’t game enough to go and question about the netflix or wifi. we heard other ppl complain about it and the man said there nothing he can do about it. 6) there was a truck parked in the exit lane of the building as there were quite a few cars there it was a fire hazard letting him park there. then a 4wd drive parks behind the truck. i find this very unacceptable because there was kids staying there as well. heaven forbid if something bad happened and we had to evacuate and couldn’t because of the truck parking there. but these ladies get a talking to about cooking out front of there room we didn’t mind the smell just wish they made extra hahahaha. do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else.
