I stayed at Atlantis and it was an utter disappointment. To begin with, I think the entire system is dis-joint, disorganised (I am not sure if they went through a management change), but definitely not worth the price. I checked in with 2 adults + 3 children for 2 rooms but reservations had 5 adults in their system. It took me 45 mins at the reception to get this rectified, only to find out that it wasn’t. They only fixed in 1 department. Everywhere else i went, e.g restaurant, waterparl, they kept on questioning for 5 adults. On the check out, the lady asked for any feedback, i told her the same (she clearly expected that i would say it was great) but when i told her the feedback, she was defensive. Towels were missing, mini bar was locked with some weird lock like bicycle ones. Their morning breakfast restaurant is packed, not enough seats for the hotel capacity. I cannot see how this place is 5 star & above as per their rating. Could have been on the past, which they are still milking out of the reputation but certainly not worth in this time. Btw, I mentioned all of this to their GM who was at the reception at the checkout, he said he’d do me a “changing the tourist tax for the 3 adults “in his system to 3 children (reality). I wonder what favor he did really. What an absolute disgrace and disappointment.
