Sonder at JBR the Walk

Our experience with Rue at the Sonder Hotel was absolutely phenomenal. When our original travel plans were extended, Rue stepped in to save the day with grace, efficiency, and kindness. Not only did Rue help us rebook our accommodations seamlessly, but they also went above and beyond to ensure that our new arrangements exceeded our expectations. Their attention to detail and commi**ent to customer satisfaction were truly commendable. Throughout the entire process, Rue was exceptional, professional, and incredibly helpful. We stayed in the penthouse suite and the view was amazing. It was a great getaway with friends. The concierge service was always quick and all our queries were resolved really quick

Ayoub at the front desk was really helpful and checked us in immediately with no hassle. Very helpful, polite and professional. We came in early on the 7am flight and had check in arranged for 4pm as standard. However, as a good will gesture Ayoub accomodated us.

The best stay i had ever , the view of the room is incredible, the food is so good , the staff are so gentle and welcoming, especially ayoub from the reception, the beach club was amazing ,the vibe ,the food, the DJ , the people all are incredible, thank you for the all, we will come back again surely

It was a great experience staying here with my family I really really enjoyed my time, quite family oriented place and respectful people. Very friendly. And helpful staff they were very friendly . It was our first time but won’t be the last time….💃💃💃💃✌️

It is a difficult review to write. We are a family of 4 and have stayed in many 5 star hotels in Dubai. We stayed at the Sonder for 20 nights. The apar**ents are excellent. Lots of space, well equipped with awesome views. If that is what you want then this is a great place to stay. However.. the pool - Azure Beach Club is not. The Rixos has over 1000 hotel rooms and there are probably max 30 Sun beds near the pool and another 30 ish in a lesser location by the hotel. You will not get a Sun bed (except maybe on the beach) unless you are down before 7am. They then get reserved for the whole day. Also half the pool area is taken up with an adults only pool that has a live DJ from lunchtime. Sonder guest have to pay to use this. Plus in front of the family pool they have the best beds reserved for minimum spend per day. That should tell you a lot about this hotel. Gym is small but okay. You can get all the food and groceries apps to deliver to your door Staff are helpful. JBR traffic is horrendous and regularly added 10-15 mins to each journey whether coming in or leaving. JBR is good for restaurants and Marina is a walk away.

The apar**ent was spectacular and everyone was very friendly and courteous. However - for the price that we paid (over 40,000dhs) there should be (at least) twice weekly cleaning and bed changing provided - in fact there should be daily servicing. We found the service to be a bit hit-or-miss. On some days when we called down to take the trash out or for new towels/sheets we got service within 10 minutes and on other occasions it took hours with call backs required. On one occasion we had to leave after waiting over an hour for somebody to come, so I placed the refuse bag outside the door. We were severely (almost rudely) admonished for doing this. The beds were very comfortable but the furniture in the main living/dining area was both sp**** and very poor quality. I was also a bit disappointed to get a call at 11:05 on the morning of departure putting us under pressure to vacate the apar**ent immediately on the premise that "the next guests had paid for early check-in". Beautiful apar**ents in a wonderful location but the overall product does not justify the cost.
