We are just back from a fab weekend in Drymen, we didn’t stay here but ate and drank Friday/Saturday. The food was absolutely delicious, great size portions and good value for money. Great atmosphere and the bar staff made you feel very welcome. We would definitely visit again and recommend, maybe even stay overnight as the place was spotless

Serving staff seem a bit abrupt n aggressive. Reminded me of isa from still game. Might be her daughter. Don’t eat the £17.50 chicken Milanese it’s tasteless and no coating, very poor. Other service in the places round about it difference was night n day.

Friendly staff welcomed us at the bar. Our room was very small, little room for luggage. Bed was not very comfortable, a thin mattress on springs way past their best. Small bathroom and very small tv. Room was clean though. We had a dinner b and b deal so the menu choice was limited but the food we had was fine, as was breakfast. Dinner staff didn't look like they wanted to be there but bar staff were cheerful. It's was just about ok for our first stop on the WHW.

We were walking the West Highland Way and were tired after our first leg. We were warmly greeted by Stuart who checked us in quickly. Lovely atmosphere in the bar. Our room was quite small, overlooking the main street, but it was quiet. It had a dramatic antler lamp shade, very Scottish. We had a lovely pint of Avalanche, before tucking into a delicious fish and chips. The batter was so light and the fish beautifully cooked. The mushy peas were thick and tasty while the home made chips were really nice (but far too many, I’d like to meet the person who could eat them all) Breakfast was mixture of self service for the cereal and waitress service for well cooked good quality hot food. It was a brilliant start to our walk. (If only the Rowandennan Inn, our hotel the following night could take a few tips of how to provide a great B&B experience)

Staying in Drymen whilst doing the West Highland Way. Popped into bar to watch football. Warm greeting by the kilt wearing barman ... Great host. Bar busy and friendly atmosphere. Wednesday is quiz night and my son and I were invited to take part. Smashing night. Recommended.

Lovely rooms and comfortable beds. The showers were a little tempremental in temperature but overall a great place to stay. Excellent dinner (my chicken, ham and leek pie was delicious) and breakfast and a good location, right in the middle of the village and easy to get to.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Drymen Inn with our Cocker spaniel Molly. Stuart, Jen and their staff couldn’t have been better. We were made to feel more than welcome. We were even invited out along with the hotel staff and the local community for a walk along the west highland way up Conic hill on New Year’s Day. What a day, we laughed all the way and we couldn’t have enjoyed it more. I couldn’t recommend staying at the Drymen Inn highly enough. The food is excellent (we didn’t even eat anywhere else as it was so good and so reasonably priced), the entertainment on New Year’s Eve was fantastic, they made my wee dog Molly so welcome and quite simply couldn’t do enough for us. We have already booked for over New Year’s Eve next year and will very likely be back before that! Stuart, Jen and their staff were excellent hosts. Overall excellent in every way!!

First time visit and would definitely recommend. Excellent quality food, very good value for money and great service despite being a busy Saturday night. Highly recommended if staying in or passing through Drymen.
