A good alternative to the expensive Drogheda hotels. Clean compact rooms, full breakfast, free parking. Heavy blackout curtains a welcome antidote to early summer mornings. A long walk to town, so best if you have transport, but there's a restaurant (Borzalino) and a good bar (Foley's) on the main road at the bottom of the hill.

Peter had very good advice on local sights and restaurants. Breakfast was VERY tasty (loved the fresh berries!). I was initially taken aback by the lower end/older look of the furnishings, but the quality and quantity of the breakfast offerings really made up for that. Bed was very comfortable and the street was quiet. Everything is very clean, and they even freshened the room while we were out driving around.

Very friendly staff. Amazing cooked breakfast, arrived nice and hot. Rooms very comfortable. Great location to access the town. Generous sized room with tea and coffee facilities and plenty of towels. Would definitely stay here again. Have recommended to family. Helen

Das B&B liegt etwas abseits auf einem Hügel, was aber überhaupt nicht schlimm ist, man ist trotzdem schnell in der Stadt, zum Bahnhof dauert es ein wenig länger. Die Zimmer sind groß und gemütlich, genau wie das Badezimmer. Das Frühstück ist normal, Standard halt. Aber das was mich stört ist, es ist irgendwie schmuddelig und nur oberflächlich sauber, der Esstisch wurde bestimmt nur mit einem nassen Lappen schnell abgewischt, die Teller sind nicht richtig sauber, die Boxen mit den Cerealien sehr abgeranzt. Genauso sieht es im Bad aus. Wie gesagt, alles nur oberflächlich sauber. Schade, das B&B ansonsten ist toll.
