We stayed at this nice hotel when walking “long distance routes” at Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Excellent rooms. They advertise a lot about there renovated brasserie but that’s closed on weekdays. I couldn’t find the bar or the regular restaurant on their website, so only after calling them it became clear they actually do have a restaurant. Easy to change i think. Restaurant had a nice buffet. Coffee, tea is free during the day in a cosy lounge. Very nice place to stay.

Groot domein met veel groen en mooie moderne kamer met een mooi uitzicht. wel een kamer die slecht gepoetst was en niet volledig ingericht. Geen frigo. Geen rekje voor je handdoek Geen koffiezet, Het nachtkastje waren 5 kopse balkjes met 4 brede doorlopende openingen net breed genoeg om sleutels brillen en ander klein grut soort te laten vallen…. Genius. bovendien een douchte die varieerde van lauw naar heet enz. Bij het ontbijt krijg je ook nog eens de alternatieve aanpak van domein Horst in je strot geramd. Er is geen vlees te vinden. Enkel en hoop kaas, omelet ( dus zonder worst of spek ze doen zelfs niet de moeite om er warme groentjes bij te doen. Enken een verloren gelopen tomaat is er te vinden. Geen ratatouille geen champignons, zelfs geen witte bonen. Enkel een verloren gezwommen zalm moest het ontgelden en ongeboren kippen uiteraard. Als je me dan toch vegetarisch wil doen eten doe het dan the right way en niet op de Spartaanse manier.
