Find the Cheap Dresden Hotels

A beautiful hotel with very friendly staff in excellent location. Good to reach and at the same time beautifully quiet. All the pools are accessible by foot. We will come back in any case.

Dear reader, as an employee of an hotel, I would like to tell you that this hotel fulfilled everything a guest wished. Constantin in the night service was the one who made me book a room in this hotel by his kind way at night, but his service goes beyond the usual night service. He helped me actively find my goals in the city that I wouldn't like to be so widely used to, at this point a great thank you. I came back only in the early morning hours, when Mrs. Forster was waiting for me from the early service, this lady has a huge heart, which you could notice when you changed the word. And finally, Mr Wenzel, I didn't get it, with such a hospitality for breakfast, brought me a cake that he simply perfected the service of these hotels. I thank these three staff members of your hotel for having ensured a beautiful stay for me, and these are not flocks, but these three staff have brought me to write an assessment, which I would not only like to encourage my successors to book here, but also thank me for allowing me a nice stay. I hope I can welcome these three employees again next year with their serious smile. Thank you very much!

Visit in (Corona-) Summer 2020-Terrassenzimmer ”Green” Location: However, the city centre is quietly located (* with limitation) *At this time the directly opposite large construction site (cars sometimes directly before the entry of the deep garage) was in the final stage. At 7 p.m., the flat craftsmen dropped large stones on the loading surface of a kipper, which lasted a wake call over the phone wacker. However, the building site also had a surprising advantage, so that in the evening in this corner (by the building site-gate-block of the Prütznitzstr. of the entry of the Bautzner Str.) in this lively scene district, with many “freisizens” in the summer of the small sticks where there is already a certain noise level, The theatre's game bar and restaurant was completely closed in summer 2020, so it was very quiet in the evening in the direct environment (which may be completely different in the “normal operation”! ) Rooms: booked was a terrace room, of which there is in Hotel 3 (green, yellow, lila). All are located in the upper floor (no lift in the house). Unfortunately it is not so easy to find where the respective room is located, or how the geographical orientation is. Therefore, here is a short overview. “Lila” is backwards with the north-west orientation to the prügnitz and probably the most quiet and “greenest”. “Yellow” is south-east, With view of the (without Corona?!) Innerhof/Freisitz and access to the deep garage. “Green” has a south-west orientation with view of the Jewish cemetery and view of the Louise road, in which Zenit directly falls under the sun in summer. The room is Clean and on the terrace you can make a nice glass to sound day or night. Shower (in fact standard) was not available and should be brought with. Wi-Fi was disturbed (but in repair), but you had full LTE reception. The bed in the terrace room is very flat and low, which is certainly no problem for younger people, for older people maybe already. Furthermore, the “corners” very loading and you can be able to hit your leg there, liked to be repeated;-) breakfast buffet standard meets it best. Yes, in principle everything you need, but also not “specially” or “raffined” and for €14 per person additionally, no good price-performance ratio. When undercover there is no buffet! You must specify what you like to have breakfast and then get served. Alternatively, there are also various locations in the environment where you also have a delicious Parking: free parking in this area is balanced with gold, giving a clear recommendation for the deep garage (+7-€ per day). good location (swiftly in the scene district, but also on the Elbe),

Location is good. Facilities are a bit too old to be rightfully at the Hilton brand standard, but acceptable and understandable at this price level. On the services, there is substantial room for improvement. Staff are responsive but badly need to be trained with better protocols and practices.

Lovely hotel. Great staff. Check-in and checkout perfect. Rooms clean, good size, wifi perfect, very comfortable all round. Great feature is the convenience store in the lobby with a variety of snacks, wine, beer, etc. Excellent location at the edge of the historic centre. Good value for money. Would definitely stay here again.

As can be seen from the pictures this is a fabulous building set in wonderful grounds with trees, woodland, gardens and a fountain. The building is set high above the river. It is set some 8 miles [I guess] from the centre of Dresden and if not travelling by car there is a Tram Line [number 11] which runs speedily and every few minutes. I got a good deal with a room in the annexe which is in a modern building nearby. The room was perfectly adequate with a good bathroom and excellent shower. Others mention the lack of coffee and ”mint on the pillow”] but these are not common in Germany anyway! My problem was that - as highlighted by others - the restaurant t was closed on a Sunday evening as were all the other facilities such as the wine cellar so that I could not even get a drink. There is another similar establishment just down the road but that too was not open for food and the staff could not tell where food [Sunday evening about 730pm] was available. In many ways I was perhaps fortunate as to cost as the restaurant menu was on the higher cost. Breakfast was fresh [and extra] and the scrambled egg was the best I have eaten The bed was comfortable but - as common with Germany - is two singles pushed together. Room was spotlessly clean

In the 3 years since I last stayed here, the hotel has declined. I am a Marriott Gold member, My first room was right next to the elevator, and when I went downstairs and asked to be moved, I felt as though I was inconveniencing the desk clerk. They gave me a room one door further down. When I came home that evening, I had a leak in my ceiling that was creating a large puddle and continually dripping. I put a bunch of towels down and let them know. By the following evening, the leak had been fixed, thankfully. My room also had a large Jacuzzi tub with the shower above it, which was very difficult as you almost had to stand on the sloped part of the tub to be under the shower. It was also tricky getting in and out of the tub as it was very high. Perhaps the thing that I found the most disappointing was that the only choice for breakfast was to pay €35 for buffet. I asked if I could just get a cup of coffee and a roll and the answer was only if I paid €35. This seems silly. There was nothing horribly wrong with the hotel, but the overall stay was just unpleasant. Certainly not five star.

Price/performance is absolutely consistent. The staff is attentive and advanced. Despite the lack of professional staff, the hotel is well equipped with young adults. You sleep very quiet. A short comment on my fellow. I find it impossible if guests who can afford a 4-Sterne-Hotel get their pockets full of coffee juice, sugar, nutella, crack bread and everything packed. I'm ashamed of it and I'll have the courage to speak to people next time.

For our latest German city adventure we chose this hotel because of its location. We arrived by train from airport and had a short 10 minute stroll from the Mitte station to the hotel which is situated on the river Elbe, it being a warehouse in a previous life. We had already requested a river view and got one on the fourth floor, perfect. easy walking distance to the city centre too either via the zwinger palace or along the river. The hotel staff were very smart and courteous and always pleasant. the rooms were spotless and the beds were comfortable if a little too soft for me but I do like a very hard mattress. We saw that there is an option for asking the maid to not service the room with a view to using less chemicals and therefore benefitting the environment, I'm a bit cynical about this and suspect it is to save the cleaners wage bill . As I said this is just my cynical view! there is a terrace where we took breakfast each day as we were blessed with nice weather. (Watch out for the crafty crow that will steal your bread roll and tip over your tea pot). The breakfast was buffet style and the choices were superb, if a little too much choice. Hot drinks were either obtained from the machine or you could request a pot from a waiter. There is a bar service and we enjoyed a few refreshing beers on the veranda following a hard days sight seeing and also a night cap following a hard nights dining out. We didn't use the hotel restaurant as we have a rule of always eating out when visiting a city. check in and out was straightforward. There was quite a bit of building and road works taking place during our visit, it wasn't noisy but it did make the neighbourhood feel a little tatty and unloved in places but this was beyond the control of the hotel , however, this didn't spoil our overall enjoyment, its just that the hotel is in a more commercial part of the city which is still being improved. There is a wellness centre and pool which we used, the Friday afternoon was quite relaxing apart from the man who thought he was swimming for Olympic gold and wanted everyone to know that he could swim. Saturday afternoon was very different, It felt that I was around a pool in Benidorm with loads of kids screaming and jumping in and throwing balls about, it certainly didn't feel or sound like a relaxing wellness spa!. I gave up and went and had a relaxing beer by the river instead. The whole experience was enjoyable and I would certainly use this hotel again.

Super location, directly at the women's church we had received an upgrade although we had only paid a last minute price Rooms super , large and luxurious Bikes were stuck in the baggage room and were allowed to stay there even after check-out until afternoon SPA area is OK, but access to the roof terrace is not possible, but visitors of the roof terrace room see and also enter the SPA area and enter we have paid the price we have only paid a absolute highlight in Dresden
