Sitting at an outdoor table enjoying the view and excellent food and wine, what’s not to like? The Saxon Game Plate is superb and the Tarte Tatin magnificent. Very good and attentive service make a meal here a memorable experience. Highly recommended.

We greatly enjoyed staying at this hotel. Breakfast had a nice variety of options and staff were attentive in clearing tables and asking patrons if they needed additional drinks. The rooms were clean and a nice size. Parking is right on site. The location is perfect if you want to visit both Dresden and Bastei national park. To note, if you want to visit the gardens it is €3 per person and tickets can be bought at hotel reception.

A very beautiful, downright sophisticated hotel or castle complex that must have cost an enormous amount of money to modernize. Friendly service, fair prices. The rooms are very pleasant, tastefully furnished and recently completed, it seems. The only thing missing is a wall box with at least 11kW, which is a disadvantage for non-Tesla drivers in the Saxon e-mobility diaspora.

On our way to Rügen we stayed overnight for the first time at the Schlosshotel Pillnitz (1 night), right on the Elbe. It was a very nice experience, we had an excellent meal on the terrace in the evening. Room and breakfast were fine, staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, which is unfortunately no longer a given these days, whether in restaurants or hotels. Beautiful castle park with great trees, unfortunately only accessible for a fee. Free entry for hotel guests would be desirable... Free parking available, right by the hotel. Recommended!

Wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer welches sehr geräumig und sauber war. Auch das Bad war äußerst sauber und großzügig geschnitten. Das Personal ist supernett und hilfsbereit. Besonders gefallen hat uns auch das umfangreiche Frühstücksbuffet, hier werden keine Wünsche offen gelassen! Im Restaurant wurden wir auch sehr nett bedient, das Essen war ebenfalls überwiegend gut. Die Lage ist natürlich abseits der Innenstadt jedoch schön direkt am Schlosspark gelegen.
