My daughters and I escaped to Port Antonio from the city to enjoy a few days and stayed at GeeJam. The staff, from arrival to departure, were extremely friendly and helpful. The room accommodations were spacious and comfortable, and it was serene to sit on the balcony to have breakfast with a view of the sea. We befriended the co-owner, Steve who was kind to include us in a tour of the recording studio on the property, and who introduced us to “ting-a-ling”, a concoction of rum and ting, a local soda. Interesting! We had an enjoyable time and would recommend visitors to the island to stay at this hotel, located in the beautiful and scenic parish of Portland, known locally as “Porty.”

We loved our relaxing stay. Friendly staff, lovely food, beautiful large balcony, bedroom and bathroom all with excellent art and a very comfy bed. Portland beaches, rafting, waterfalls etc in easy reach. Great to tour the recording studio too!

Although I didn’t stay at the hotel, the wedding party and I joined Geejam for dinner and drinks at this stunning location. I had a refreshing piña colada paired with rice and peas, a fresh salad, and delicious lamb shanks everything was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was equally impressive, with a pool table and stylish bar on one side and a breathtaking view of the ocean. (though my phone couldn’t quite capture its beauty) on the other. It was a memorable evening, and I highly recommend it for both the food and the scenery!

This is a gem of Port Antonio. I accidentally found this place after a long drive from MoBay. This place was P E R F E C T I O N. The staff were superbly welcoming, kind, accommodating and overall great. The grounds were clean, well maintained up to date and spectacularly beautiful and one immediately gets a sense of peace and tranquility. The rooms are quite large, clean, eclectically decorated and beautiful. I did not get to enjoy this gem but it incentivized the planning of my next trip. You definitely need a car. It was not easy to find, so if driving on your own, use the San San police station as a landmark and continue driving to the top. I am not one to easily rate anything 5 stars, and this place certainly deserves a 10 out of 5 stars. One should not be disappointed.

We enjoyed the view from our room and the calm peaceful atmosphere. The lush vegetation was pleasant to admire, hearing roosters crow in the AM. Food very expensive at the hotel’s restaurant and local shops not very accessible by foot traffic

Geejam was the most incredible life experience my mother and I could’ve ever asked for. The people were so warm and welcoming. Thank you to Newton, Patricia, Jackie, Omar, and everyone else who showed us so much love during our stay. We felt like family. Besides the sweetest hospitality, the hotel itself was a spectacular place. Immersed in the jungle yet a luxurious feel, Geejam is the best of both worlds. The beach is a lovely walk away; kayaking, flippers, and goggles are available for those who want to explore the stunning coral reef bay. The onsite gym is tiny but equipped with all you need to keep in shape. Drivers are available when you need them in case you want to explore nearby towns, and the rooms are beautifully decorated, showcasing a deep appreciation for art. The entire trip felt like a dream, and we were treated as such. I cannot thank everyone enough and I can’t wait to come back!

Beyond amazing! We were greeted like royal guest. Our room was extremely comfortable, clean and cozy. We enjoyed the private cottage with peace and natural beauty. The food was great complimented by pleasant staff. The views are to die for.
