Das Haus liegt neben der E6 zwischen Dovre und Dombås, doch die Zimmer liegen nach hinten raus, zu Fluss und Bergen. Überall hängen Bilder, wie das Haus in früheren Jahrzehnten ausgesehen hat. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl und findet schnell seinen Lieblingsplatz am Webstuhl, im Garten oder am Pool. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist gut und abwechslungsreich, das frisch gebackene Brot noch warm. Das Abendessen bestellt man an der Theke, dann wird es an den Tisch gebracht, drinnen oder draußen. Zu empfehlen ist das regionale Bier, das eigens für Toftemo gebraut ist. Im Sommer stemmen fast ausschließlich junge Leute sämtliche Aufgaben, großen Respekt! Tusen takk!

Ottimo hotel dotato di tutti i comfort- anche il personale molto gentile. Camere pulite e spaziose con grande balcone Ampia zona all’aperto Super consigliato anche per il ristorante dove poter pranzare o cenare Qualità prezzo ottimo rapporto Consigliato !

Per la nostra ultima notte in Norvegia, ormai "salassati" dagli altri soggiorni e di rientro da Trondheim con direzione Aeroporto di Oslo, ci siamo fatti convincere dalle ottime recensioni di questo campeggio che mette a disposizione anche delle Room Hotel. Beh, molto azzeccato. Location vicino al corso di un bel torrente super rilassante, e nonostante il campeggio fosse bello pieno era super silenzioso, oltre ad una stanza grandissima e confortevole, un bagno altrettanto grande e pulito; abbiamo potuto godere della nostra privacy in terrazza, sotto un cielo che non vuole mai rabbuiarsi. Temperatura gradevole fino a tardi, con la copertina siamo stati divinamente fino oltre le 22. Avevamo anche la colazione inclusa a buffet (8-10). Unico appunto è che è solo salata, salvo qualche marmellatina.
