We had a family reunion last week at the B&B — incredible breakfasts (worthy of a high-end hotel), and great time on the big front porch, and evenings around the back fire pit. The rooms are spotlessly clean, well decorated and very comfortable. The owners are lovely - helpful and friendly, but not intrusive. It was a very restful and fun place to stay.

Great place to reconnect with family. Great hospitality. Breakfast is delicious. We spent a week on a family reunion. Porch and fire pit area are excellent for sitting in a large group and talking for hours. Loved our time here.

Wow - someone was in a bad mood when they gave a rating of 1. We stayed for 2 nights and found it a very nice inn. Clean. Comfortable bed. Bathroom a little small. We did not have breakfast there - WE read the information and knew that there was a charge. We rarely take breakfast as we never know when we are going to get up in the morning. Read the information and know to look for the (small) white picket fence. If you are driving from town and get to the Walgreens, then you have missed it and gone too far. This happened to me several times! This was my first time visiting Dover-Foxcroft. It's a nice place to stay for a few days exploring the region or as a stop on the way north. My grandmother was born there in 1883!

Just returned from a two night stay at the Freedom House B and B in Dover Foxcroft Maine. I had a wedding to attend in nearby Sangerville and found this property after an internet search. A very nice couple own this picturesque property in a lovely little town. I stayed in the smallest room (#3) in the cottage and it worked for me. When I arrived I thought there was a package of potpourri on the pillow, but was pleased to find out it was two cookies! The body wash and shampoo smell great, the bed was comfortable and the sheets were very soft. Plus there was plenty of hot water for my shower. I added the breakfast and when I couldn't finish it the proprietor gave me a take home container. I would definitely recommend.

Loved our stay here. Stayed in the cottage apartment mainly because it had a living room in addition to the bedroom and we’d been on the road awhile and needed to be able to spread out. The cute kitchen was a bonus. Loved the decor in this room. Bed very comfortable, nice bedding, plush towels and everything clean. This is an old home so the steps up to the cottage apartment are steep. The host and hostess are very kind (Elizabeth went out of her way to juggle things to make this room possible for us) and breakfast is fabulous.

My family of 5 needed a place to crash before white water rafting. This home is spotless and beautiful! Very comfortable and the owners are very kind! My kids loved the cookies - we all loved the space! Fun to walk to the movie theater. I do not recommend Chew62 for dinner - stay away from there but stay at this house!

Freedom House B&B was such a wonderful place to stay! We had everything we needed and more - very clean, charming decor and super comfy bed. The owners were so warm and welcoming - and can they cook. The bfasts were phenomenal. Will def return!

We loved our stay at Freedom House B&B. Warm and welcoming atmosphere, cozy, clean rooms, comfortable beds, lots of fluffy towels. We stayed in the three bedroom apartment, and it was lovely. We had breakfast the next morning and it was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! Would love to stay here again if we return to Dover Foxcroft sometime in the future.
