A wonderful place to stay! Shirley went above and beyond to accommodate me on my stay on the Island. Clean, comfortable, quiet & welcoming with a great view of the Douglas Bay. My first visit to the Isle Of Man was made complete on discovering this gem of a guesthouse. Wonderful breakfasts too! If I could give six stars, I wouldn't hesitate. Thank you again for making my stay perfect.

My wife booked for 4 nights at this guest house and we had 3 breakfasts. The weather was mixed but the comfort and hospitality at this hotel made up for it. The rooms are cleaned and serviced every day. Breakfast was made especially entertaining by Luke with no request to much trouble. There was loads to eat and it was good quality and piping hot. Our room was on the third floor and did not have a sea view. It did not matter. It was very comfortable and had the usual tea making facilities. The only thing lacking was a mini fridge to keep the wine cool. We will return.

The hotel is well located, on Queen's promenade, so some rooms (including mine) had a sea view. That was nice to see the sun rise or hear the see. Much choice for breakfast (both continental and English). The room was correct, clean, but could be better... Luggage storage is possible, that's convenient.

This was a great choice, I am so glad I stayed at the Edelweiss Guest House. Everything was comfortable and clean. I recommend having the breakfast, there's lots of choice and it's cooked and presented nicely. The host was very helpful, which added to the pleasure. When I return to the Isle of Man, I will stay again at Edelweiss. What a great trip

First time visiting Edelweiss for a one night staycation. Service at check-in was fantastic, headed our key, then were told when and where breakfast was served. Room was on the first floor and had a sea view. Very clean, with tea and coffee making facilities, plus a small fridge. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and hot, tea and coffee. Lady who we spoke with from when we arrived until we left was so very friendly and helpful ( I think Sheryl) First visit but will not be our last, especially as it's just around the corner from my favourite restaurant for dinner 😁

The Edelweiss has been around for a long time, and whilst you will not find modern accommodation full of all mod-cons, you will find everything you need for a lovely stay, including an extremely comfortable bed, a wonderful breakfast, and a team led by Shirley who clearly values the old fashioned ideals of providing wonderful hospitality at a very reasonable cost. Excellent value for money. Rooms on the small-sized but I had booked a single. Breakfast was superb and plenty of it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definetly recommend this hotel. Walking distance to Douglas shopping centre

Fantastic place to stay. From start to finish the service we received was amazing. The rooms spot on, the beds great, the breakfast worth the money, the sausages where divine. We stayed here for a week whilst over visiting family, definitely Fantastic value for money. Shirley and her team are spot on. Will definitely stay again when we come back to visit. Xx
