Hotel is above average. Room was nice but could do with a fridge and complimentary water. We had a front room which was a bit noisy with the traffic. Leaving this aside its a nice hotel with fantastic grounds, swimming pool and jacuzzi.. The staff are excellent and friendly. The hotel also offers a Private secure carpark. I don’t often think that restaurants I visit are worthy of a recommendation as I am always critical when I pay good money to eat mediocre rubbish food that I can do better with my eyes shut. You know what I mean. Well I recommend that you must eat here. We had the set menu and the meal was excellent. I mean really good and delicious. Everything prepared cooked and presented perfectly. This was the last night of our holiday and it certainly made up for all those terrible meals we had experienced over the previous days. I Highly recommend this place

We first visited the Auberge Bienvenue four years ago while visiting the Saumur region to buy a home. The welcome we received from the owners and their team was excellent and is every time we visit , The rooms are comfortable , quiet , spacious and air conditioned a must in the late spring and summer months , and the spa provides a spot for relaxation next to the quiet garden, The restaurant is truly a gem , the cooking is always of the highest standard with carefully selected menus and dishes using fresh local produce and an excellent wine list complements the food which is expertly presented and served by the team, Another bonus is that the menus represent excellent value for cooking of this standard, The hotel has secure car parking and Tesla electric charging points, The location ;makes it ideal for visiting the Bio Parc ,a natural zoo interesting for adults and children ,There are a number of other interesting archaeological sites close by ,,,or of course you can go wine tasting along the Loire valley wine trail,

Much wanted return after the recent pandemic. Madame Roche charming as ever and with Paul successfully survived a tough period of closure due to Covid. Rooms lovely as ever although the garden area needs a little TLC as more overgrown as trees mature making rooms darker than usual. The restaurant was busy and food excellent as always. However this time special mention of her new staff …..two delightful young girls who were personable and clearly very well trained and the sommelier, a young man recently settled in France …..all were engaging and a credit to Madame who oversees the floor with calme and precision. The Auberge is reasonably priced for rooms but dinner with wine on the pricey side but lots of choice including a substantial vegetarian selection. A downside is breakfast. H lice very restrict and frankly expensive. Outside the hotel three minutes drive is a huge supermache with an excellent restaurant plus if needed a McDonalds! Also cheap fuel. Consider a visit to the Bio Parc zoo although during this visit light on animals but setting super! Great couple of day three hours from the ferry ….awaiting our next visit ….book direct for best prices!

Located in a crossroads, I was afraid it would be noisy, but no, because it doesn't have much traffic. A warm welcome, spacious rooms, comfortable bedding and a complete breakfast buffet with fresh products. For 89€ it’s a very nice address (private parking included and possibility of recharging at 3 Tesla terminals)!

An establishment that is becoming increasingly rare to find. Friendly hosts, dedicated, smiling and active staff. The human relationship is privileged, we go out of our way to give you satisfaction, as quickly as possible. We had come for a family celebration nearby and had not paid particular attention to the catering aspect. It was therefore with great pleasure that we discovered this restaurant and its chef, who would justify the trip alone... too quick a visit, fortunately supplemented by a visit to the Bio Parc, again very interesting. Bravo and thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Roche, for having this passion for the tradition of French hospitality. We will come back, for sure...

Hotel very well located for visiting the biopark. The room is large, clean, the bedding comfortable and quality. Little extra: electric vehicle charging stations in the secure parking lot. The director is attentive to the well-being of her customers. We had an excellent stay and ate very well at the restaurant table.
