The hotel with the worst wireless network ever. People on business trips must avoid lightning.. You can't use the network at all. I don't recommend people on business trips to stay in this hotel..

Bed was super comfortable, amenities were satisfactory, restaurant was really good, and room size were larger than normal. Only the internet connection could be a lot better. Otherwise great stay. Would definitely stay there again.

It was my first time at Akwa Palace. Rooms are modern (no carpets! I have no idea why so many place in Africa with the humidity year round still choose carpeting) and functional. Clean, air con was great, location is excellent, downtown, not too noisy inspite of that. Staff is great! So corteous and helpful. Food is very good, with a nice choice from the menu and with a very good breakfast buffet. Definitely would stay there again!

Very nice and kind team. I can t complain at all. Very conscious about their client and their security... I always staid at Akwa palace since I visit Cameroon and I never been disappointed. I will come again to Akwa Palace with no hesitation... Thanks

I had a great experience at AKWA Palace hotel. The reception staff are amazing especially Miss Kadija and Miss Sylie, I recommend this place to anyone who wants a pleasant and stress free environment. Personally I think it’s a 5star rather than a 4star hotel.

Wonderful staff and excellent service! The rooms are modern and clean. The pool area is well managed and a wonderful place to relax. The restaurant food is delicious I recommend the akwa palace as the best hotel in Douala! Thank you akwa palace
