Here for Sunday Lunch. Opted for three course set menu, as it looked to be fantastic value for money, despite interesting looking stuff on the a la carte menu. . Attentive and relaxed 'front of house' team, especially Aussie Annie (not her real name) got us settled in an looked after elderly relative well. . Food, starters and main were cooed to perfection if you are a meat-eating person. Great choices for puds to follow, nice coffee ☕ after. . Suggest: A smaller portion offer for older folk within groups.

My Dear Friends got Married at the Forest Hotel on the 17th June. I have to say from the time we arrived until we left, we had nothing but respect, helpfulness and politeness from all the staff. They looked after us so well. There was a young Man who absolutely run around, I think his name was Jonathan, nothing was too much trouble. Even the lovely girls who clean d our room. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Food was gorgeous as well.

Arrived tired and grumpy. Left relaxed, well fed and pleased to have visited, for a meal, for the first time in a long time ⌛️ . "Sunday Lunch extends 12 noon to 7pm (not sure when last food orders go in). Good menu choices. Busy vibe, unlike the IKEA themed pretend swingers club opposite

I just went to meet a friend for a coffee ordered it at the bar . It took 35 minutes to come to me. It had then became crowded by this time. I had chased it twice and they wouldn’t believe me that I had been sitting there that long and said I’d have to wait in the queue. I said but everyone else that can in after me has there coffee . The man serving was very rude about this , saying he had the time I ordered, I said so do I , He then came over with my coffee and said that i had been out the top of the queue. I said that is not right but wouldn’t listen . I was going to order food but I felt that would have taken too long and didn’t like the rude service

good
comfortable room, slightly aged room with cracking paint, but well set out and comfy with nice finishes with cushions etc.
Breakfast was a set continental - No choices, which let it down.

5 friends met up for Sunday lunch and all enjoyed our meals. A piece of advice about parking. Be warned. You must register your car otherwise you will receive a hefty £100 fine ! Due to a dash into the hotel during a shower, we did not notice the sign outside. Unfortunately there was no mention of vehicle registration from the staff or a card on the table advising of this.

We had our Christmas dinner here, there were 17 of us and I have got to say as always the food was just fabulous and very enjoyable. A Big shout out to Dan the chef your food is amazing! We are coming back again this Sunday for a lovely Roast. Thank you for having us Darren & Juliette

We went as a party of 6 for the NYE party and had a great, really great time. Dinner dance type do but without the formalities. Causal dress and buffet food which was really good, loved the lobster rolls and chicken skewers. Place was full but not overly packed. DJ was great and what was really nice was it was very multigenerational, good mix of ages.
