Let me start with this the hotel was a very pleasant surprise for a 4 points. Many 5 star attributes and others that are two star. Pros: As platinum members we were upgraded to a jr suite. Room had a kind bed and a twin pullout couch. Very large bathroom. Staff were so friendly and accommodating Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Buffet with eggs, bacon, potatoes. Pastries, fruit, cereals. Prosecco. The pools were amazing! Some of the nicest we have seen in Europe! Huge indoor and outdoor pools. Two lovely saunas and a steam room. Lovely relaxation area. The hotel was so clean!! Areas for growth: No soap or amenities in the spa area. I wanted to shower after the steam room and sauna but there was only a shower no soap. The towels were extremely thin. Not a deal breaker but could be nicer. Could have gluten free bread at breakfast. We were driving through the area and needed a place to stay.

Bien que difficile à apprécier avec tous ces professionnels pressés, en sachant qu’il n’y a qu’une seule machine à boissons chaudes (oui il faut faire la queue comme à la caisse du supermarché) L’hôtel est cependant propre et moderne, bien situé et avec un parking gratuit au sous sol. Recommandé pour une nuit à la limite ou pour séjour professionnel.

I was staying in harry's home with my family for four days, and my experience was very positive. The receptionist was very helpful, pleasant, and professional throughout our stay and spoke english very well. The cleaning lady was very nice, even charmingly so. The room was nicely lit, the bed and the sofa were comfortable, the bathroom was roomy and the amenities were very clean and it didn't look like they were cutting any corners. The air conditioning was fantastic, the water boiler was a welcome addition, too, since I like having tea in the morning (they also supplied tea, coffee, and a bottle of mineral water). The location of the hotel is great, you can go basically anywhere by foot, and the parking garage is secure and has plenty of space. Regarding the price, it was really a good bang for the buck, no doubt.

We spent 2 weeks doing an Alps tour. We didn't really have any plans in Dornbirn, we just needed a place to crash for the night before heading into Switzerland. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the Sonne1806 Hotel was! We were upgraded to a suite, which was well appointed, and we enjoyed hanging out in the top-floor lounge. The breakfast was better than any other we experienced at a hotel during our trip, with a wide variety of delicious foods. Parking was free and plentiful. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Dornbirn area.
