We choose this restaurant according the text on their website- it should be price-winning restaurant because of its cheese gnocchi. Unfortunately we were told, this famous gnocchi are available only on pre-reservations and up to four people. The service is very friendly, the soups were good, but very small portions. The steak was fine but little bit too fatty. The vegetarian offer is extremely poor, so I choosed fried camembert with salad and it was awful. It is was pre-made semi-finished product and the salad was mix of everything. For this course will I give 1/5 stars- I never had something so terrible before.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise im Gasteiner Tal, waren hungrig und fanden nach längerer Suche das Restaurant Walcher: ein Volltreffer! Wir kamen um 13:45 Uhr, und obwohl die Mittagessenszeit dort um 13:30 endet bekamen wir problemlos unser Essen. Und was für eins: hervorragende Qualität, große Portionen, sehr liebevoll angerichtet - und zudem ein überaus freundliches Personal! Eine 100% Empfehlung! Wir werden wieder kommen!
