We used the Hotel Doolin as our home base for kayaking out of Ballyvaughan, hiking the Cliffs of Moher, and biking on Inisheer Island. The free, large and tasty breakfast every morning was a great way to start our adventures. Dinner and drinks at FItz's pub was a great way to wind down the day after a long day. While our room was a bit noisy the first night due to traffic from a large tour group, the staff were more than happy to move us to a more secluded room while we were out hiking. They even left us a bottle of wine and chocolate to apologize for the inconvenience.

We had the best time at Hotel Doolin for a family wedding. The food was a real highlight - just absolutely amazing and mouthwatering! The staff were lovely and so helpful. We will be back for sure!

I travelled with my mother and son to see the Cliffs of Moher. I can not say enough good things about the hotel staff. They were so kind and went out of their way to help us all when I accidentally fell down the stairs in the self catering accommodation. Particular thanks to PJ who took me at 10.30pm to the nearest hospital over 45 minutes away and waited. I ended up being transferred to A&E in Limerick and he checked on me the next morning to make sure I could get back ok. When I arrived back just after 9am the receptionist also came to check up on us all. Their kindness will be remembered- thank you. Ps my review re the sleep quality is no reflection on the accommodation it was because I could not submit the review without clicking and the reality is I had no sleep because I was in hospital the whole night!

We attended a two day wedding in the hotel. The room in the hotel was warm, clean and large. The food served at the wedding was excellent and catered for individual preferences. The staff were all obliging and helpful. The breakfasts were really good and well presented. I highly reccomend this as a hotel in a very scenic area.

We stayed in the self catering cottages adjacent to the Hotel Doolin because we were a party of 4 friends. I looked high and low and the cottages were the best value for money in a walakble location to pubs and restaurants in all of Doolin. It was great to have the space of a cottage with the services of a hotel. All the thigns that mattered - beds, linens, hot water and food - were terrific. We slept like babies and ate like queens, but the jewel in the crown is the lovely and super helpful staff. Than you all again for a fantastic stay.

The friendly welcome at Hotel Doolin sets you right up for what can only be described as a perfect stay. From the quirky, comfortable rooms to the exceptional food at Glas restaurant to the creamy pint of Guinness in Fitz’ Pub while listening to live music you honestly won’t get any better anywhere else.

We attended a family wedding. From the minute we arrived, we found all the staff exceedingly helpful. My elderly mother has mobility issues and without prompting, we were given a beautiful comfortable room which met her needs. Breakfasts were lovely - a wide selection available and everything tasted wonderful. We dined in the Stonewall the first night and the food and service was fabulous and all reasonably priced. Overall experience in Hotel Doolin Excellent! Kudos to staff and management.

Went for my sons wedding. Lovely clean hotel with amazing staff. Eileen was my favourite she took time to chat even in the middle of running around serving . She was fantastic

The self catering house was clean and comfortable. The bread on departure was delicious. My daughter left her ear pod in her room and the staff saved it and mailed it back to the US for us:)
