Hotels in Hengdian, Dongyang

I loved my stay at Holiday Inn Hotel Dongyang! The hotel is right across Qin Palace, and also close to Dream Valley so if you arrive in Hengdian early, you will be able to go to two Hengdian sites in one day. Thank you to all the kind staff who helped me, even though there was a language barrier, still they were able to make my stay in Hengdian way fun! Kevin helped me check in earlier than what was noted in the reservation. Winter, who works during the graveyard shift helped me figure out the shooting location of a drama that is not in Hengdian, and Wendy Guo helped me connect with a Didi driver and let me order food via her phone. The food choices are good since I'm not really familiar with Chinese cuisine. I was able to stuff myself up before going out. You have to eat a heavy breakfast as the Hengdian sites are huge, loads of walking to do! The hotel is also like 10-15 minutes away (by car) to the Ming-Qing Palace metro station. Will book this hotel again ❤️

I was lucky that I got a free upgrade with breakfast included. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. Clean, good breakfast. Super good shower. Good location, you can walk to 2 studios nearby. Breakfast is abundant. Auntie also helps to fry eggs. The service provided by Xiaotan at the front desk is very good. No English but very friendly. Will return if I have the chance.

The room is fully equipped with refrigerator, washing machine, induction cooker, disinfection cabinet, and everything else. It is completely prepared for long-term stays for people who make movies. The sanitary conditions are good, the only bad thing is that there are a lot of stains on the sofa. The wallpaper has warped edges. The surrounding life is very convenient, and it is convenient for dining and traveling by car. It is only 3 kilometers away from Qingming Shanghe Park and Qin Palace. Parking is a bit tight. You need to find the main desk to scan the code for free when leaving the hotel. The house price fluctuates greatly, so it is suitable to stay when you are free.

It took 11 hours from Ninghai because of the typhoon, but it was nice to be welcomed warmly!!! It's a shame that there's no refrigerator in the room, but the location and cleanliness are the best!!! I wish there was a refrigerator in the summer...^^;;; Also, when I was going to go to the filming location, they explained the situation there in detail and what to do~~so I didn't fail~^^ Thank you~^^ There's a night market right next door, so I don't have to worry about food and there's a supermarket right next to it, so it was great~ I'll stay there again next time I visit Hengdian~^^ I'm really grateful~^^

I am old, taking advantage of the fact that I can walk around more now, I came to Hengdian and booked Taikun International Hotel. It is really a good hotel. The lobby is very stylish and has a scene. The room is my favorite layout. The waiter cleaned very cleanly and the service was warm and thoughtful. The price is very affordable than the surrounding hotels, the bedding in the room is very comfortable, the facilities are easy to use, there are security patrols at night, the safety of customers is very guaranteed, it is very close to the scenic spot, it is very good to have to give a good review.

Pro: 1. Early check in 2. Robot help to deliver orders to room, so we not need to go lobby to collect the delivery. Very convenient 👍. 3. Friendly reception Con: 1. Hotel’s renovation look abit old/ aged although advertised it is 4 star selected hotels in Hengdian world studio. Remark: We booked family room which included two adult tickets and one child ticket. Refer to online comments, people said can top up money to change the child ticket to adult ticket, but we were unable to do it.

We chose this hotel because of its non-smoking policy [a lot of hotels in this town allow guests to smoke in the room]. We spent one day in a suite and one day in a 2-bed ”mountain view” room [view from our windows in the pictures] The 2-bed room was huge, 120cm beds, no fridge. The suite seemed bigger in the photos, nice, with a fridge and very big bathroom. Both rooms with A.C., both equipped with a universal charger, a tea set with 2 bottles of water 0,5l each, both with intelligent Xiao Du light, courtains, tv and wc system, windows equipped with mosquito nets. ”Mountain view” and some photos suggest 'Zen' style high end neighbourhood, but in reality it is a very, very regular chinese neighbourhood. There is only chinese name on the hotel building I think. We arrived one hour before the check-in time and get the room without any problem. The young female receptionist was extremely helpful and polite, used the translator app to communicate. She helped us to buy the right tickets and a hotel menager accompanied us to the nearest ticket office. The hotel is very close to the Qin palace and Dream Valley. There are 2 tourist bus lines (A and B) connecting most of the scenic spots, every 30 min, a ticket costs 2 r.m.b. one can pay in cash in the bus, this bus service stops about 4.30 p.m. Apple maps app works OK, google maps app does not work in China. We took a taxi from Yiwu station (1 hour) to get to the hotel, 170 r.m.b. and about 43 km one way if one goes the shortest way or 220 r.m.b. and about 63 km via highway, a taxi from Qingming palace costs about 20 r.m.b. There is an annual ticket for 898 r.m.b., this ticket is for one adult plus one child or just one adult - all 13 scenic spots included [Dream Valley excluded], one can enter each scenic spot only once a day. I think 2 scenic spots in one day is a max,  maybe 3 because most of the spots closes about 4.30 p.m., only one or two are closing about 8 p.m. There is no printed ticket only passport data in their system so you enter by showing the passport.The Hengdian Studios I think are not prepared for foreign tourists at all. Their printed map is very small, hard to read, does not show enter gates or ticket offices, their website is not helping, in theory there is an English version but with very little information, the chinese website is better but still not very helpful, there is no list of all 13 scenic spots or the opening hours, only information about the major ones.

The room was very spacious for 3 pax our room was at the highest floor could observe whether its raining or not for those who wants to sleep in longer in the morning could manually close the window Hotel staff are friendly Hotel breakfast was soso not much selection Location was really near to 秦皇宫 tourist spot nearby theres alot of restaurants and there will be a lawson opening soon Overall would say that if i am going back to 横店 i wouldnt mind staying here again

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel during the Qingming holiday and the experience was very satisfying. First of all, the hotel lobby is very warm and the rooms are simple but very clean. They all reflect the u**ost attention to detail. The front desk service is also excellent.
