Dongtai Hotels with Gym

My 2nd time in Dongtai, 1st time in Leida hotel. It looked good on the website. 1st impressions were good. Even though the staff spoke very limited English they checked me in efficiently (I do speak some Chinese but if you don't it's okay). The rooms are a good size and the big picture windows give great views over the public lake/park. the only downside was the faint aroma of stale cigarette smoke in the room but this is China and unfortunately to be expected. The downside was the breakfast was very Chinese and though I love the cuisine here I'm not a lover of Chinese breakfast. It would have been better if the cook knew how to make fried eggs in different styles than just solid yokes and they invested in a good coffee machine. The coffee was in a flask....and was white....I didn't even try the bit I poured into a cup. The positive is Wuyue Plaza is a 10 minute stroll and has a Starbucks and MacDonalds! I had a look at the gym and pool. Gym was 10 yuan, pool was 40. Both looked okay. The hotel grounds needed a bit of a tidy up but were okay. I couldn't find direct access into the lake/park area but then I was only there 2 nights. The big convenience was Wuyue Plaza. The top floor was restaurants. A decent selection. Towards the back on the outside walking street was a decent little bar (Black Vine). Nice manager, 8 craft beer taps, lots of bottled beer. Yes, I'd stay here again as it suited my purpose.

We came to the hotel to celebrate the New Year. The location and hotel area are both great. But this holiday was overshadowed by the ineffective hot springs. We drive to stay warm in hot water after taking a walk in the park on a winter day. The hotel staff explained that there were too few people in this hotel. Not very good. The rest are great. When leaving the hotel, the staff gave a small gift. thanks

The price is very high and the service attitude is very good. Free parking, very close to the city, the room is equipped with a bathtub 🛁, there are many fish soup noodle shops around. Very suitable for family and business travel

Zhou Liuliu at the front desk checked in quickly. Yang Wenbo at the front desk added WeChat to follow up on needs since check-in. WeChat consultations will be responded to very quickly. The service is very thoughtful. When checking out, they also gave souvenirs for tasting on the way.

Other things are ok, but the service attitude is bad. There is no breakfast left. I bought a breakfast coupon and wanted to refund it, but they said it would be served later. I started to eat, but when I finished eating, they didn't serve it again. When I asked, they said they couldn't serve it again. Speechless. They also had a bad attitude when they issued an invoice.

The second brush Sunshine Hotel, this time I brought my parents to eat fish soup noodles, I continued to choose Sunshine Hotel, the service was particularly warm, booked two rooms, when I went out, I saw a room with a mahjong machine was being cleaned up, and I went downstairs and the beauty said it. I made up the difference and upgraded the suite. I am used to playing eggs at night, it is too convenient to play mahjong, my parents are very satisfied, this price is too high for the elderly 😂

The hotel has free parking, the room is clean and tidy, the breakfast provided is rich in variety and tastes good. The service staff is warm and thoughtful and worth recommending!

The hotel has a good environment, excellent location, especially convenient parking, warm reception service, thoughtful, timely cleaning and hygiene of the rooms, very satisfied, will come to live next time.
