B&B Villa Rosalinda

What a beautiful villa this is! Giovanna and Doriano really have a good eye for detail and explained to us the importance of maintaining original pieces of the villa. We only stayed here for 1 night, but definitely will come back to Dongo and stay longer. The breakfast was heaven, with produce from local farmers and homemade croissants and cake from Giovanna. What more could we ask for! Grazie Giovanna e Doriano!

Charming B&B - 1 minute walk from the lake and the piazza in Dongo. Old villa converted into holiday accommodation while maintaining the charm. The room was furnished with antique furniture, had a beautiful fresco on the ceiling.. Incredibly beautiful place. Kettle and complimentary tea bags in the room. No air condition but it wasn't necessary as the house kept very fresh at night. Renovated bathroom with full amenities and complimentary toiletries. The breakfast was delicious... Bread, cheese and salami from local producers and cake/juice homemade by the owners of the house. Doriano and Giovanna were friendly and welcoming. Spoke both English and Italian. They shared many beautiful stories of the history of the house and life on Lake Como. Staying in their Villa was an absolute treat. I hope that I'll be able to visit again in the future.

We stayed with Giuliana and Doriano for two nights and loved this extraordinary place. The house is old, beautiful and well restored. With nice details like old fresco’s on the ceilings and modern comfort like a very comfy modern bed and newly installed bathroom, they found the perfect balance between style and comfort. The breakfast was very good with fresh local produce, the possibility for diet adjustments and everything served in the garden. Speaking of the garden, this is a true green quiet oasis in the centre of town with very old trees and nice spots to sit and relax. And then there’s the hosts and their dog, who all were very friendly and welcoming. They could tell us a lot about the house, the garden, the area, good restaurants and the local products and did so in a well balanced way: not too much, but including nice details. All in all, we’re already very fond of Italy and it’s hospitality, but this was an absolute pearl even for the high Italian standard. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely return during our next Italy trip! Giuliana e Doriano, grazie a tutto!

The owners take great pride and care of their B&B and their guests. Beautiful old building with great characteristics maintained but also luxury amenities in the room. Amazing breakfast and super friendly service. They provide good information and tips for activities. Free Parking.
