From the moment I arrived on a very wet Wednesday night I was greeted by very friendly staff on Reception who processed my checkin really fast and pointed me in the direction of my room. The room was clean and well presented. For a budget hotel this hotel is great value.

We stayed here the night before we were due to fly from Robin Hood airport and what a gem of a hotel! Staff went above and beyond to make our stay laid back and comfortable. Simon the duty manager was very friendly and helpful! Simon preempted our needs and approached us to arrange our transport to the airport with out us having to ask! The customer service we received was far greater than any other chain hotel we’ve stayed at. The breakfast has an extensive choice and although it was busy in the morning it was managed very well! The room was comfortable and met all our requirements for our stay. Overall a nice night away before we go on holiday! Thank you!

The hotel itself isn't terrible. The staff were friendly. I had a standard room, modern bathroom, looked lovely, but shower and bathroom taps leaked every time the room above used their bath/shower. So obviously aesthetics over decent plumbing on the bathrooms!The lock on the bedroom door was questionable at best, it was obvious the door had been forced at some point and broken locks replaced! Didnt fill me with confidence. The Breakfast was OK (dont expect even a choice of how you want your eggs its scrambled or nothing!) but cooked to order, which is a bonus. The worst thing about this hotel is its in a very run down town and some of their residents, who im assuming are living here through emergency housing plans represent this, no respect for anyone else, shouting and screeching in hallways in the early hours. I expect the homeless man who sits on the steps of the next door building outside would have at least been more respectful had he been ever offered a room! I wouldn't return, I'd rather stay 30 miles out of town and commute in than stay anywhere near the centre of Doncaster again! Felt very unsafe both in and out of the hotel. Awful place! Feel sorry for the hotel, think they're fighting a losing battle. Its one of the worst Mercure I've stayed in, it's grimy, stains on curtains,carpets you dont want to put your fet on etc, but the FOH seem to be doing their best, but even when here as a place to sleep when away for business, its not a place you can relax!

We had an ongoing booking for a large group for a few months at Parkside and it was ideal. Everything was always clean and tidy, great location and the hosts were always lovely and understanding (especially Zoe!) There is absolutely nothing to fault - beautiful venue with everything you need either within the guest house or nearby. 10/10 recommend!

WE HAD A FRIDGE The toilet sit had some soap smudge on it and initially thought is something else but if foamed when tried to clean it (I always have sanitizer with me as is only human to miss a spot and do a mistake. Didn't kill me cleaning that myself. Housekeeping job ain't easy. Bless you all. Just keep a better eye to avoid Karen type❤️) The receptionists were all friendly and happy to assist me with both check in and check out. We absolutely loved our room and the view was magnificent. The dawn was heavenly seen from our window❤️ What I loved the most was the fact that in the room we had a FRIDGE. Many hotels don't have that anymore and imagine having a room without a fridge with this heatwave going on 🥵 I will attach a photo with our beautiful view🤩 This hotel will be my top choice whenever I'll need a room around the area. Clean room, clean hallway, clean reception area. Please keep an eye for the accessible rooms. Read all description and detail before booking as they have special rooms for people with a health condition and the room will have some things at a low level to the ground. Will be your fault for not choosing the right room not the hotel's as you need to read description always. Don't take it out to the staff for your own mistake😊 Seen a lot complaining about that, as I've seen also about the rooms accessible and didn't understand the term initially, until I went through the details. After reading the details I knew exactly what room I need to book and what would not be convenient for me🙌 Bless you all and hope this review will be of help to some of you at least 😊

Stayed here for one night to break a journey up, fantastic hotel & incredibly nice staff - especially reception. We stayed In room 415 which was in a separate block lovely room & very very spacious. Breakfast was the letdown / not much choice & items had been eaten not replaced.

It’s a budget hotel but offers a great deal for the price. The area is very easy to find, straight off the m18, situated close to a Morrisons and McDonald’s do no need to be hungry, petrol station there too. Hotel has a large free car park, well lit at night. Entrance to hotel and reception is nice, bright and clean, staff really friendly and welcoming. Stairwell up upstairs rooms is chilly and a bit in need of decorating and a quick clean, but the actual room corridors are fine. Room is fine, basic, but it’s a budget hotel, what do you expect, it’s clean, quiet, beds comfy and there’s a telly. The bathroom was a bit of a handful however, which is truthfully the only reason I gave 4 stars, I’d have certainly given 5 otherwise… it’s no ventilation no extractor fan, and with a shower was a wet room smog, so steamy that you can hardly see where you’re at, the lighting isn’t great either, but it’s only a bathroom and I was in and out! Breakfast is fantastic! Great selection, fruit/cereal//coissants, toast, full English drinks buffet style, really good! Cannot recommend enough! Dining area is more or less in reception area so easy to find, comfy, and clean, the staff on are great, happy to help, welcoming, friendly and chatty, this is what it should be like! I’ve stayed in loads of hotels in the uk and it’s rare to get genuinely pleasant staff who actually look happy to be at work, seriously well done guys! I hope ibis read reviews, because for a budget hotel this one is very good! 👍

Excellent facilities, lovely clean rooms and very helpful staff. The family room was fantastic for us as it had a double bed and two single beds in there. When you book a family room, sometimes it is a pull out bed that is really uncomfortable, but this was a proper bed. The bathroom is well stocked with towels and toiletries and a good range of drinks in the room. Fantastic hotel.
