Cheeky weekend away with the family. Was busy at check in when we arrived but the staff were welcoming and accommodating. Have stayed here a few times before over the last 8 years. The rooms are starting to look slightly tired now but they are clean and there is adequate space and car parking available. There is a restaurant next door (half decent menu) with a Pizza Hut and McDonalds nearby. Breakfast is also available and is very tasty and fresh. There is plenty of it so you're not waiting for the buffet area to constantly be topped up but would recommend booking as it does get busy.

On arrival at check-in we were greeted with a warm friendly welcome from a very polite receptionist. We were fortunate to be given a ground floor room 404 and was able to park car outside our window. Our room was warm, very clean good shower everything we needed. Will definitely return.

On arrival at Reception @15.20hrs 24/01/2025, two lady Receptionists on the desk, one was dealing with a customer, the other was just gazing at her laptop totally ignoring me, I felt I was invisible! No acknowledgement of my presence whatsoever. I suggest this person is given some customer service training. I believe I was waiting around 7-10 minutes to register my arrival. No apology for the delay was forthcoming, possibly because the ONLY customer serving receptionist didn't want to embarrass her colleague?? The first room I was offered had to be rejected (Room 407), due to the chair having the most uninviting stain on the seat base cushion. It was so huge, I could not believe why the chair had not been removed from the room and replaced with an acceptable one. The second room was completely fine (Room 408) These rooms were in the annex. On a positive note. The Annex room was quiet and warm. The Beefeater next door gave excellent service from start to finish. The greeter at the entrance door to the waitress and the bar staff all very friendly and efficient. Food served was excellent, drinks great choice. One of the best I have been too. Finally would I choose this Premier Inn in the future should I need too?, the answer would be yes, great location, plenty of free parking space (at the time and date of my visit). I only hope that my concerns would be addressed and that it was only a ‘one off’, not to be repeated again.

Lively clean hotel. Reception helpful and friendly. Parking easy. Location excellent. Room clean and what you would expect. Breakfast was excellent and probably the best we have ever had at a premier inn, obviously frequented cooked and topped up. Fried eggs were perfect.

We had a fantastic stay at this premier inn. staff were lovely and the room was clean. we booked it as we wanted to a break away from the kids. Lake not too far from the hotel and food outlets near by. the only down side was you can't open the bedroom window

I usually ask my company to book it here as it's not too far. easy access from the motorway too. The reason I keep coming back to stay in this place is that the staff are both lovely at the reception and restaurant. They will always make you feel as a home and always go extra mile.

Appauling room, not fit for a family. Edges of the vanity mirror was chipped and sharp, springs sticking out of the futon bed, the bedding had holes in, and had been used and not changed- had a head mark on the pillow and marks on the sheets. The double bed had bowed massively in the middle so a restless night. Cleanliness of the room was very poor- fresh tooth paste all over the sink. The desk was about to collapse and shook horrendously. We have used Doncaster before but this time was shock g, with no maintenance and no cleanliness. We raised the issues with reception to then be told they couldn’t move us room as they was full, but offered a room clean in an “hour or so” But sadly not good enough when it was gone 8pm and with a baby to put to bed , we therefore was given fresh bedding to make it ourselves…. Extremely disappointing stay
