There are no windows in the hotel room, and the sound insulation is very poor. The waiter only speaks Italian and it is extremely difficult to communicate. The breakfast is terrible. I accidentally left my headphones in the hotel. The hotel repeatedly pushed back and did not handle the mailing matter. Really rubbish experience.

火車站旁邊,房間不大,整潔。臨街比較吵。 一樓餐廳非常棒。 推薦走路十分鐘去城裡廣場,路邊咖啡館坐一下。

The hotel is located direclt opposite the train station, very ideal if you plan to do day trips to surrounding towns. The room was clean and well maintained, excellent bathroom with bath and great shower (not always the case in Italy), TV had international channels. The room was made up every day, including fresh towels. The hotel is walking distance to everything. Make sure to spend time in Piazza Mercato, have a glass of wine and enjoy life at a slower pace. This town is wonderful for immersing yourself in Italian culture, not many people speak English and there aren't many tourists around at this time of year. A great town to return to after visiting touristy places like Stresa, Locarno, Arona. Breakfast at the hotel is typically Italian and could do with offering more of a selection like cold savory cuts, different types of fresh bread, fresh juice. but it's got the basics. The hotel is also a restaurant and is quite good, but my favorite place was a trattoria off the main square at the end of Via Briona - really good food for a great price. Overall, I would recommend choosing this hotel. Location great, suitable price, attentive staff. I fell in love with this town!

My wife and I arrived in Domodossola, crossed the piazza to Hotel Eurossolla. The trip from Brig through the Simplon was a hoot-the train was one of the oldest in the Swiss Railway fleet, first class only a slight upgrade from a cattle car. I like that kind of experience when traveling. Also I am partial to small town ambience. Domodossola fit the bill. Hotel Eurossola was great though the dinner in their restaurant seemed pricey. Our room was big city quality. Francesca was very helpful. I was ill so we needed to stay in Germany an extra night. We e-mailed Eurossola that our arrival would be delayed. No problem. She was knowledgable and shared that with us especially as it related to activities in the city and area. We walked around this lovely town joining the citizens in their passagieri. Breakfast was outstanding. I believe Francesca mentioned that Eurossola hosted members of the Italian National Ski Team during training. That would have been fun to see those athletes. In Turin we stayed in a hotel with AC Milan! Because I was ill and needed to bed down after dinner, we missed the "Crazy Show" that night on the Piazza. It sounded like everyone attending the show was having so much fun. My wife went to the front desk to request a wake-up call in the morning. No one understood her. Francesca had left for the day but it was one of those incidents that travelers can chuckle about as they reminisce about their trip. Someone must have figured it out because the wake-up call did arrive as requested in the morning! I remember Domodossola fondly. Lovely town. Lovely people. Lovely location in the Italian Alps. Small town ambience. I wanted to stay on.

I stayed two nights at the Hotel Eurossola and had a good experience. It could not be easier to find -- it's straight across from the train station (and a little to the left). I was able to check in when I arrived at 11am, and was assigned a room on the 1st floor (2nd floor to Americans) directly above reception. The room was extremely clean, and smelled freshly sanitized. I had a single bed, a TV with a couple English channels, a desk, and private en suite bathroom. I did notice that I heard all the noise from reception directly below me - phone calls, talking, etc. That was a little annoying. Otherwise the room was quiet and adequately warm (adjustable heat dial on the wall -- it also appeared to have AC). Breakfast was included, and it was done in the hotel restaurant and had the standard continental fare of croissants, breads, cereals, fruit, cheeses, ham, etc. There was an automatic coffee machine that made cappucinos, espressos, and americanos at the touch of a button, too. The restaurant was not open for dinner the two nights I was there. The best part of the stay was the family that seems to own/run the hotel and maybe even live there. They were gracious and friendly, and their little boy was just adorable. The bar is the dining/TV room, and I got to sit down and watch TV with them and sip wine. It was a very nice, friendly, family-like experience!

Be warned, when you book Hotel Eurossola they may actually place you in an apartment completely detached from the hotel claiming you booked the "Dependance" which you have to walk to with your bags in a less desirable location which was poorly lit at night. When you use their website to book it appears you are going to be staying in this charming hotel, but we were shocked when they said we actually booked the "Dependance" and refused to put us in the hotel as they were apparently booked - which may be why we got relegated to this crummy apartment. We are seasoned travelers and have never experienced anything like this before. You will see on their website there is no mention of a Dependance option, you think you are booking a hotel room, then the word later appears on your confirmation after you've booked and is not something you'd ever expect or notice. Deceptive and very disappointing.

I go every year several times to this Michelin star restaurant…and my previous reviews were top 5* and glorious indeed. On Wed. Nov. 15th we booked a table over the phone…even today of this review…their website says the Atelier restaurant is open and nothing about the star Chef is not available. When we arrive…a woman in a green suit…explained in a very loud voice…the restaurant was closed since several weeks…and the chef…is not there 🤷🏻🤷🏻 They have only tables for hotel guests. Her attitude was very aggressive…indeed. All the tables were empty…we asked for one…she replied they are fully booked for hotel guests. So we gave up…went to another restaurant…shaking our heads..this is no Michelin star restaurant behaviour 🤔 After 20 years of delight…I will probably never…again… visit this restaurant…after this terrible experience 😔
