Baan Chai is a magical place, where you can breathe peace and nature.
The facilities are perfect for enjoying a few days off and escaping from the crowds.
The mackerels are very very comfortable. We will repeat when we return to Chiang Mai. 100% recommended

This was absolutely our favourite accommodation in Thailand / after being in the north for 4 weeks. Such a beautiful and comfortable and wonderful place … I could have stayed there for weeks. The pool area was lovely and the adjacent breakfast area was spotless. the food was delicious and generous. The owner, Micha, has thought of everything - including face cloths!! (The only ones I’ve seen in Southeast Asia. Or Central America, for that matter.) The rooms are spacious and yet cozy —- and the bathroom is absolutely first class. Huge countertop. Beautiful sink. Two showers that are both wonderful —- but the outside one is to die for. I wanted to stand in there for hours. Strongly recommend this beautiful place. Micha is a friendly and helpful and kind man … and his staff are great as well. Also —- the on-site restaurant has great food!!
