Fraser Suites Doha

Everything about Fraser suite is wonderful. Beginning with the reception staff, potters, cleaners and the meals. It qualifies to be called home away from home. Its ambience and serenity is splendid with awesome view of the city. I will definitely stay again. This was my second stay by the way.

Good location, excellent staff and good breakfast. Pool area was clean, but there is relatively limited poolside sunbed availability on the busier days. Gym was OK with a good view out over the corniche, but some of the machines were not in a great condition. First room allocated was not what I had booked (downgrade) and when I challenged it, I was moved in to the appropriate room type. However, this should not have happened in the first place and it felt like reception were simply 'trying it on'. Nevertheless, a pleasant stay in the end.

This Fraser Suites is a bit old and requires renovation. The bath tube was dirty, there was no socket near the beds. Their aircon was too cold and not able to adjust temperature to above 23C even with the help of housekeeping. The shower water was too cold for the first night and it took a day for their technician to fix it. Having said that their swimming pool, gym and other amenities were good. Location-wise, it’s not the most convenient location but there is a metro bus next to it.

The room wasn't ready when I have arrived. The room wasn't exactly like the pictures when I first booked it.
