We spent three blissful days here as the first stop on our Montenegro holiday. It’s one of the most lovely hotels I have ever stayed. It was perfect for me and my teenager daughter and me as a base to explore Kotor but also relax. The rooms are beautiful and very spacious. The staff are so friendly and helpful, we felt really welcome and well looked after. The private beach was wonderful for some serenity. Lots of lovely restaurants to walk to as well.

A beautiful boutique hotel, immaculate with stunning views of Kotor Bay and a faultless staff. The restaurant was superb and the waiters treated us like family. There's not a lot to do in the area--the Old Town, a boat tour of other towns/landmarks on the Bay--but if you're looking for calm, relaxation, and the utmost in pampering, Forza Mare is perfect for you.

We loved our time at Forza Mare. At only 10 rooms this is a classic boutique hotel - the room itself was lovely and we were lucky enough to have a balcony looking out to Kotor bay. Food was consistently excellent - breakfast is buffet style but with a wide choice of things made fresh by the chef. We had one lunch and dinner and were impressed by both, the wine list was excellent. Ultimately the service was stand out - the staff are brilliant, attentive and friendly. I’m very grateful for the help planning out our days and making our trip to Montenegro so relaxing.

After arriving from Dubrovnik by car, we found the hotel to be closed! This was a first for us. Apparently, the hotel staff had made efforts to contact us, but we never received the message. I'm sure this is a lovely hotel, but we were a bit stunned to find that it was closed. A helpful local directed us to another hotel owned by the same group - Hotel Forza Terra.

We had walked from the opposite side of Kotor Bay and it was time to rest our legs and grab a coffee. I was a little apprehensive given this was a hotel, but we couldn't have been made more welcome. Such attentive staff who were very much on the ball and very friendly. Great coffee with a cake (chocolate torte), which was recommended to us. Very clean and most professional. A fabulous seating area right on the bay made for a restful and enjoyable little break before our continued journey.

When spending 2500 euros on a hotel then one could at least expect that the rooms would be without noise from lobby and stairs but, no, the doors at lobby level are like paper in this sense. Same with the room we had at first floor. If you can stand to wake up from people talking outside your room the this hotel is highly recommended. Rooms are good, rooms ending with 2 are larger than rooms ending with “1”, ex “201”. The hotel is a nice boutique hotel with friendly service, restaurant with great food and very high prices wines, breakfast is good. But, one can see that the hotel is starting to age too. It’s not bad yet but the signs are there.

Amazing amazing amazing. This hotel is fabulous, beautiful setting, courteous and always helpful staff. Beautifully decorated rooms. Just a wonderful place to spend time for a holiday. Thank you for such a fabulous time. Bicycles a lovely touch to the holiday.

Fantastic boutique hotel situated perfectly by the water in Kotor Bay. The rooms where spacious, modern and clean. The beds were comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. The terrace by the water was the perfect place to get into the water. I can't recommend this hotel enough.
