In my opinion, this is the perfect hotel. It’s just a 7-minute drive into the old town, and the hotel offers AC, a clean pool, and stunning views. However, you will need to rent a car or taxi everywhere if you stay here. The only downside is the consistently loud music in the lobby and by the pool. Despite being the only guests around, our request to lower the volume was denied.

The hotel is a lovely, clean and well decorated boutique hotel. The beds are very comfy and the views from the balcony and roof terrace are outstanding! The infinity pool with lovely views of the bay is perfect. The food is also good and the old town is only 5mn drive away whilst Perast is about 10mns. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Elena, Nikola and Anja! We also ran into the owner Daniel who was super friendly. Look forward to visiting again.

Lovely boutique hotel with eleven rooms. We thought the room was nicely furnished and well equipped although a kettle or coffee machine should be included in a "superior" room at this price point. We took a travel kettle after reading previous reviews. Bed was very comfortable but the single, narrow quilt should maybe be replaced with two separate quilts. The shower was efficient with plenty of hot water but the sink was not fixed down and the drain plug not connected so proved useless for shaving. The staff were very friendly from the manager to the bar staff and we felt very much at home. Breakfast was simple but good enough and the freshly made coffees very nice. Ate at the hotel on a couple of occasions and have to say the steak was among the best I have had. The pool was lovely and warm and although the music a little distracting, it would be turned down on request. There are plenty of bars, beach clubs and good restaurants on the lower road that follows the waterline and it provides a pleasant walk into Kotor. Would stay here again with it's great views and good position away from the crowds of Kotor, due to the 2 or 3 cruise ships that arrive most days.

Lovely views across the lake and modern stylish hotel that sits right on a very busy road that goes broom broom beep beep 24/7. Music blares all day in communal areas to try and drown it out! Hotel clean but drinks priced like central London! Breakfast was the same every day and hot option was omelettes and poached eggs apart from one day when they couldn’t do poached eggs! Croissants were burned on a few occasions and one day they ran out! Not what you’d expect for the price. Coffee was delicious though so every cloud…. Location is fine if you want to be on a road near nothing and nobody! The old town is a good 50 minute walk away and you have to navigate the busy road to get down to waters edge and then walk along which is lovely but you are a good 20 minutes to a restaurant/shop. We used taxis alot!! Hotel does not provide food between 1030-3 pm so no choice but to go or starve given limited breakfast! We ate one night in the hotel and the evening meal was delicious so that is a positive option. The staff were lovely, pleasant and helpful and did turn down the music when requested but unable to resolve the basics like burnt croissants and no poached eggs but omelette still available!! Not worth the money I’m sorry to say.

Our stay in August started from overbooking. One week before arrival I sent an email to the hotel asking for a preferred payment method. However, from their response I learnt that overbooking has occurred, they did not have our reservation and they only have a free room two days after our arrival, so they can postpone our reservation. That's all. No apology, no explanation, no phone call to me, even though my reservation had been confirmed by the hotel via email three months earlier (in the same correspondence) and I had timely paid a deposit (EUR 600, the payment confirmation was also provided to the hotel via email). We could not agree for the postponement since our plane tickets, car rental, sightseeing tours etc. were already booked for the primary dates, so I spent the whole day on email correspondence and calls to the hotel (they answered after a few hours and did not return my calls) to resolve this issue. I asked for a discount for our stay (yes, I asked, the hotel did not come up with any discount offer), because we had to urgently book another hotel for the first two days and we anticipated higher costs, not to mention the compensation for the stress experienced and time spent managing this last minute issue. In response, the hotel offered us a smaller room with no sea view for discounted price (EUR 120 per night, price for our room with sea view was EUR 180) for the first two days. We had no other choice, so we agreed to this solution, expecting that since the price difference was not that significant, the standard could not be either. Upon arrival, it turned out that the room was of low standard (photos attached). It was approximately 10 m2 and was located practically in the basement - we have one small window under the ceiling with a view of the hotel parking lot and car tires. The size of the bed was 140x200 and there was not even space on the floor to open a small suitcase. One of us had to sit on the bed to let the other move. Also the bathroom was really small - there was no place to put cosmetics and my husband had trouble turning around in the shower. Additionally, electrical sockets did not work - one in the bathroom and one by the bed. Next day we talked with the hotel manager about our situation. In our opinion, the room was definitely overpriced - this room cost us EUR 120 per night and was located practically in the basement! Additionally, we noticed that this room is not offered by the hotel on their website or ***********. The manager said that the standard price for this room is EUR 140, so they already gave us a discount to EUR 120. She also confirmed that if I hadn't sent the initial email asking for a payment method, we would have probably learnt about the overbooking only after arrival. We saw that further conversation was pointless and didn't want to spoil our vacation any further, so we ended it up here. After two days we got a nice, spacious room with a sea view. The disadvantage is that the hotel is located clos

We stayed in this hotel whilst visiting Kotor and it's a great little boutique hotel. The views from the balcony were lovely over Kotor bay and the surrounding mountains. Also the views as you lay out by the pool are just glorious. If you came just for the views then you are in for a treat, as the staff are just so nice and friendly and helpful. As it's a boutique hotel, there are not many bedrooms so there's usually only one member of staff tending the bar, restaurant and front desk & at breakfast, it can get busy but they are so professional and have it all under control. Coffee is made individually as opposed to a big pot sitting there and the staff make beautiful coffees. We ate here a few times and the steak was a firm favorite, cooked to our liking and tasty. It's about a 50 minutes walk to the old town but walk down by the sea, there's a set of steps just down from this hotel, across the road. And you won't feel those 50 minutes walk. A taxi back then is less that €10 I'd highly recommend this hotel for it's food, ambience & great staff.

Just arrived back to UK after 3 nights here with wife and two kids, following 5 nights at the Rixos Dubvrovnik. It’s a fairly new place and spotlessly clean. Room was a bit small but comfortable, great bed. Nice pool that catches the sun into the evening. Location is between the old city and Parast, both being walkable if need be. But what made this place special for us was the incredibly friendly staff who couldn’t do enough. Big thanks to Janika, the guy running the poolside bar, he was very helpful. The only downside… it fronts a fairly busy rd. I’d give it another shot if I was ever back that way.

We stayed in this lovely boutique hotel in June. They welcomed us warm and friendly manner. The hotel was nice decorated, every detail was considered, comfortable and clean. There was amazing sea views from the balcony. All spectacular Kotor bay and the surrounding mountains were impressive. Also the views by the pool and the roof are really glorious. The staff are so helpful, professional and friendly. Breakfasts were tasteful and really enjoyable with sea-view. My favorite was pršuta. Also omlet with pršut was delicious. We have also liked to drink coffee made by the staff beautiful coffees. We also had dinner and I should say that steak was perfecto. Location was very good for us because to visit to Perast, to Kotor from here were easy. We also had walking at seaside in evening. I'd highly recommend this hotel for ambience, great staff and it's food. Special thanks to Sara and Milesta and Tamara. annd we also thanks for Proseco :)

My wife and I had the pleasure of spending 3 nights at the Hotel R Palazzo during our stay in Montenegro and we loved every second of our stay. The hotel is brand new, very well designed and the rooms have amazing views over the bay of Kotor. Watching the cruise ships steaming into and out of Kotor was very restful. What makes the Hotel R Palazzo so good? Well, the breakfast is first rate. The range and quality was amazing, gourmet quality. And a lot of the pastries are freshly baked in-house. But the main thing I loved was the professionalism and dedication of everyone from the owner (super cool dude) through the manager (Katrina) and the whole team. Everyone worked together to make our stay special. But the best news is that Wizz Air cancelled three return flights so we got stuck in Montenegro for an extra 9 nights and Katrina was able to find space for us - so we got 9 extra heavenly days at Hotel R Palazzo. If you are visiting Montenegro you simply have to stay at Hotel R Palazzo - I loved every second there and it broke my heart to leave! We will be back!!
