The owner furnished and renovated the hotel with lots of antiques and unique collection, He stayed and waited for late our arrival. He greeted us the next morning with very hearty and delicious breakfast. He brought his dogs and let us play with them. We would have loved to stay longer, if our itinerary allowed! We only had 1 night and had to leave the next day. Hotel rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Our room had a pretty view of the town.

Had a junior suite that smelled terribly. Explanation from the reception: yes, that is probably due to the bar where smokers are allowed or it could be the broken air conditioning system. At 10 p.m.we received a new room, a far cheaper 'doppelzimmer', where half of the lights did not work and the interior door did not close. Several drunk guests were staggering through the hallways which gave a very unsafe feeling. Unbelievable but this hotel allows smoking in the open bar, which means that half the hotel stinks of cigarette and cigar smoke. They advertise with 'view on the beautiful castle and the old town' but from our window we only saw a train station and dirty courtyard although we asked for the view on the castle... When checking out they presented us the bill: we had to pay for the junior suite! After much discussion, the price was reduced slightly: we agreed with the little reduction (not conform the website nor ***********) because we still had a long travel ahead and were more than tired of this discussion after a bad evening and night in this hotel. It's scandalous that this hotel dares to call itself a 5* hotel.

There is a parking lot for money, and the hotel is very good, but Ctrip's agents are rubbish. I booked for six days, and then stayed for two days and got a rash all over the body. First I went to see the doctor. The doctor suggested changing the room. When I went to the front desk, I saw that the front desk only charged for two nights. But Ctrip said the agent did not agree to the refund of the money later. It is still under negotiation. There is an option in Ctrip to pay at the store, and then the hotels here do not pay at first, and the settlement will be settled when you leave, so everyone will pay at the store after booking the hotel.

We have chosen this hotel based on very good views and comments from other guests and off course the location of it . The hotel is located at the heart of Baden-Baden, walking distance to the park , different restaurants, cafe's and shopping area. We selected comfort room with double bed ( means two beds pushed together) whichwas spacious . Luckily, our room was with view to the park and square area. Thank you to the receptionist lady ( we do not remember her name ) . The room unfortunately does have a lock from inside or Door Security Chain Lock which feels un-secured . The iron and iron table is not available in the room but only on request. The breakfast was nice but was not with many varieties of food . The staff were friendly . The breakfast costs € 28 per person. There is a parking space available in the hotel which costs € 25 per day .

(03.07.3023 18:00 Arrival) Your professionalism, friendliness and devotion have made my stay an exceptional experience. From the beginning, I fell up with their warm greeting and positive broadcast. She has always sought to meet my concerns and needs. Whatever the check-in, booking additional services or recommendations for local attractions, she has always been extremely helpful and competent. The receptionist also showed a remarkable organizational talent. She managed to handle the requests of several guests at the same time, always maintaining a quiet and professional treatment. No matter how stressful it was behind the treasure, she always kept her positive attitude and made the impression that she was personally careful of every guest. In addition, the receptionist was always premature and emotional. She took time to listen to my questions and concerns patiently and give me the feeling that my wellbeing was the highest priority for her. Your service was always characterized by a personal note that made my stay even more pleasant. In general, I would like to praise the hotel receptionist for her extraordinary performance and her excellent skills. She is a valuable staff member who enrichs the Hotel Angel by her professionalism, hospitality and awareness. Ich fange mit dem Zimmer an: es ist recht klein mit einem Mini-Tisch. Wenig Abstellmöglichkeiten. Dafür großer Fernseher, geräumiges Bad. Gute Schallisolierung. Man muss Glück haben, wenn man vor dem Hotel einen der öffentlichen Parkplätze ergattern kann. Diese sind am Wochenende kostenlos. Parken in der Tiefgarage kostet zwölf Euro pro Nacht. Die Zimmerreinigung war tadellos. Die Klimaanlage macht was sie soll, wenn auch unter erheblichem Geräuschpegel. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich, das Frühstück ist korrekt. Allerdings waren wir so ziemlich die einzigen, die die Einweghandschuhe am Frühstücksbuffet benutzt haben. Wäre vielleicht es sinnvoll, wenn das Personal die Gäste drauf hinweisen würde, dass diese zu benutzen sind. Das große Hinweisplakat wird schlicht ignoriert.
