The animation team are amazing very friendly and helpful and encourage everyone to get involved, they speak multiple languages so it’s easy to communicate, they do different themed nights like white party and Tunisian themed so it’s always something different never the same! They’re funny and very engaging and friendly they really make everyone feel at home. They’re funny and don’t only provide entertainment but a cultural experience too! We got to experience a Tunisian wedding! The kids entertainment is that good that even the adults want to get involved! They offer a variety of activities from dancing to darts to Aqua aerobics in the ocean there is always something to do or someone to talk to! All staff are very willing to help and are extremely welcoming and talkative and have time for everyone! There is a variety of food at the buffet, even the pickiest eaters will find something to munch on! And there’s a couple snack bars that offer a variety of pizza, sandwiches, pastas etc We had a couple minor issues with the room on the first day but the reception staff were more than happy to arrange a new room for us which was more than satisfactory. I can’t compliment the animation team enough they go above and beyond to provide an amazing experience and involve everyone! They’re funny get everyone up and dancing and just genuinely have a good time and are amazing at what they do! I have a broken foot and they still encouraged me to get involved but ensured I didn’t injure myself further and were very supportive! Everyone at this hotel are lovely and very friendly if there’s anything you need they’re more than happy to help. Overall wonderful experience and would 100% come back again! 10000/10

This hotel exceeded all of our expectations, I went with my friend and our2 teenage daughters, The staff went above and beyond from the minute we arrived. The rooms are basic but clean and lets face it who goes on holiday to stay in your room all day. The food was basic but something for everyone, during the day the snack bar was ideal for burgers, panini's and baguettes. I am a fussy pescatarian but the pasta options were nice. Desserts were amazing and defo made up for the lack of vegetarian options. My family do eat meat and they were happy with the choices. The pool was very clean and the rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. The biggest shout out goes to the animation team, they work so hard getting every one involved, from day time darts and pool aqua aerobics, to olympics for the kids and Arabic lessons (which I really enjoyed) The evenings were filled with dancing and brought every one together to dance sing and enjoyed the entertainment. Starting with a kids mini disco. We made so many friends from all nationalities through the animation team it was great and so were they. They are respectful and include everyone. Our biggest issue was the mosquitos, on the ground floor it is like a mossi breeding ground, however we were offered the chance to move rooms, and were given free spray everyday to spray around the doors and corridors. I would advice plug ins and mossi repellent. Finally it is a great area the ebach is beautiful, clear seas with lots to do. The local activities such as quad biking, horse riding and boat trips are so affordable we did something everyday and you get picked up from the hotel.

❌ Hotel Meninx Djerba – A Stay I Wouldn’t Repeat Arrival and Reception: We arrived at night and the receptionist didn’t speak English. I tried to communicate using gestures and my phone’s translator. There’s no air conditioning in the reception area—it was unbearably hot. We waited until someone took us to our room through a disgusting corridor full of dirty plates and cigarette butts. Gross. Room: This was the worst part. The bed was rock hard, the air conditioning didn’t cool, and the bathroom was filthy, with a horrible sewage smell. We were exhausted and didn’t feel like arguing with staff who don’t speak English, seem closed-minded, stubborn, and rude—maybe it’s cultural. So I let it go. At night, you can hear everything. Impossible to sleep before 1 a.m., though I personally didn’t mind since I go to bed late. Food and Restaurant: The restaurant was full of awful food. The juices were disgusting, and the girl serving them looked annoyed at everyone—probably miserable working there, and I wouldn’t blame her. The meat was tough and tasteless, the pasta would offend any Italian. Very mediocre and repetitive food. Staff were rude, and I think they avoid and ignore you if you don’t speak French. French tourists were treated much better. Facilities: Nothing interesting. Dirty gardens. The pool bar served nasty snacks—sandwiches covered in flies. If you ask for a glass of ice, they refuse and say (in broken English): “Only one glass, share with your partner.” We laughed, but the guy got very upset. I never went back to the bar to avoid conflict and bad energy. The pool itself was okay, but there were no available chairs. The beach was fabulous—the only good thing about this hotel. But you have to wake up at 5 a.m. to grab broken, old loungers. Everything in this hotel is worn out, just like the staff. I understand—it’s a poor country full of bitter people. Entertainment: The only staff who spoke English were the entertainment team. They were friendly and tried their best to entertain guests, but don’t expect Broadway-level shows. Very basic, but fine. Disaster Before Departure: Two days before leaving, the bathroom started flooding. I had noticed the water drained slowly, but didn’t expect what came next. After showering, I saw water pouring out of the drain—dirty water flooded the room and spilled into the hallway, even into the next room. I went to reception to report it, but the guy didn’t understand me. I packed my things and let the mess spread. The smell was awful. Staff got angry, saying I should’ve warned them earlier. They reluctantly moved us to another room. When we arrived, the air conditioner made a horrible noise. They fixed it, but then it stopped cooling. We slept without air conditioning on our last night. Final Day: The only decent meal I had was a seafood rice dish they called “paella”—but it wasn’t paella. No saffron, probably too expensive. This is a cheap hotel trying to be 3 stars, but it’s not. Some people don’t care and ea

We had such a great time during our stay. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and very well organized. The food was delicious with a lot of variety, and the beach was just perfect. A special thank you to the animation team for their great energy every day especially Damin and Laris, who were always smiling, polite, and made every activity so much fun. They truly made our vacation unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back!
