The hotel was good. The rooms need to be improved with cleanliness. The staff are friendly and helpful. The tour man Karime is really good guide person. He took us to the city tour quadra bikes and camel tour which was really worth the money. If you want to book trip I would recommend to talk to Karime he is really friendly and make good deals

This review could have easily been a 1 star. However, on reflection, the price we paid was only £34 a day all inclusive, which included the tax you paid on arrival at check-in. The room was basic but a good size, which included a bath (need to ask for plug as not in room). On arrival, we were given a room with a toilet that didn't flush and a broken toilet seat, which were both resolved quickly. It was out of season, and the room was cold, so I asked for a heater, which again was dealt with quickly. The food offer is very limited and is repetitive, with most days the hot counter offering food being luke warm in temperature. The bar on the afternoon of day three ran out of vodka and gin on the afternoon of day four with neither replaced until the evening of day five with only whisky and buka available for all inclusive guests even though they had spirits in another bar but were only available to paying guests. The gym has an additional charge and has very limited equipment in poor condition. Reception was very helpful in assisting any issues. Most staff are polite enough, and the animation team tries to get to know you. It is located within walking distance of a few cafes / restaurants which we thought were good value for money, which was welcome due to food offer in hotel. The hotel is less than 1/2 a mile from the beach, which is not well maintained, and the two occasions we went were mainly occupied by camel rides. The hotel would appear to have been nice at one time, but it looks like lack of investment over time has taken its toll.

Time of year, reflected in price and I guess what we found. As maintenance work going on in hotel and a lot of local facilities closed. However, recommend the excursions and Karime the tour guide is excellent, knowledgeable and very helpful 😀

This hotel plays BANGING music all day every day. If you are looking for peace and quiet then this is not the hotel for you. This music is played outside at the pool area and also the lower level of the hotel where the dining room is. There is no one ever at the pool, the animation guy playing it is the only one dancing.... it's pure self gratification. It's really an unbearable noise. If you want peace and quiet you will not get it here, not even by escaping to your room. Food is mediocre, not at all hot, even when coming off the hot counter. I'm here with my sister and we have been hassled a lot in the hotel. I expect it off site, but please not on the complex. I've been here two days and have been asked the same questions ten times over ie, what's my name, where am I from, have I been to Tunisia before.... please leave me alone on site. This is no way a four star, probably was once, but it's faded grandeur makes it now a two star at best. I would definitely not recommend, even for a cheapie break away.

Absolutely waste of money. Rubbish Hotel. Stay away if possible, otherwise you definitely be disappointed. Only two things are good sofar. People at Reception and Restaurant didn't show any face yet. They have a warm pool if you are here in winter months. Rest of them are nothing like what they advertise in the site. Start with Reception. Such a laid back approach for everyone. 1 hour to check in. Couldn't check In, they gave us the keys to the room and asked us to come back later. If you are dealing with one person means you will have to finish them before you move on to the next guest, where as here they hopping between three four people. If you come from Europe then you'll be annoyed to see such a silly actions, so as in the Restaurant guests have no courtesy stand in the queue, easily jumping the ques and staff ignoring the ones who stood in the ques and encouraging que jumpers. Coming back to Reception. Hidden cost of 260 Dinars as Tax, I Never heard such a high Tax for a week stay. No WIFI IN THE ROOMS. WiFi only available in Reception area. You need to speak French or Arabic if not Communications are really difficult with the staff in here. No body speaks English. We were using Sign language. Everyday we need ask the cleaner to provide gel, shampoo and Towels if not they don't top up Automatically. HOT WATER ONLY AVAILABLE IN THE MORNING. At the Restaurant, most of the dishes were repeated . Never labelled food contents in English, big struggle if you are vegetarian. Fish weren't even scaled and Gutted properly before cooking. Orange is the only fruit available for the whole week. Hardly seen yogurt on the counter. It's a total disappointment. Hotel needs demolition and re build from scratch get all the bad practices away, if not Europeans please find somewhere else. It is not a 4 star Hotel. I Don't even give 1 star.

This December I visited hôtel thallasso and spa. I was impressed with the decor and design of the hôtel that has a lovely layout with beautiful trees and lovely mosaic tiled decor. Very artistic and beautiful. The hôtel has a lovely feeling and nice eastern style. I was told about the bar restaurant and swimming pool. The hôtel room was spacious and cleaned everyday to a high standard. I was impressed with the food as well.
