Everything was good, perfect… only the service was terrible honestly

I absolutely loved my stay at Iberostar Eriola Djerba! I spent a week there this year and had also visited last year. This time, we especially loved the food—everything was amazing. The service, pool, entertainment, and activities were all top-notch. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back again next year. The only minor downsides were the music and gluten-free options. Coming from America, I was hoping for more North African music around the pool and beach areas, but most of the time, Caribbean tunes were playing. If I had wanted that, I could have gone to Mexico or the Dominican Republic. Every day by the pool, I’d hear songs mentioning Santo Domingo or Puerto Rico. On Monday, the music was very slow—piano versions of hits like “Unbreak My Heart” and Usher songs—and when I asked the lifeguard to change it, he wasn’t very receptive. I would have loved to hear more music from artists like Dystinct, Soolking, Maître Gims, and Cheb Khaled to give a true North African vibe. As someone with a gluten allergy, breakfast was particularly tough to navigate. I would have loved more gluten-free carb options, such as gluten-free pasta for lunch and dinner or gluten-free bread in the mornings. the mornings were tough to navigate as i said- i could not find much Other than the music and gluten-free limitations, everything about this resort was fantastic. We truly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return next year! Great service and staff! thank you

We enjoyed our time at Eolia . Staff were kind and the maids where great! Beach and pool had perfectly warm water and the entertainement was good. I recommend visiting the crocodile museum if your looking for something to do as it is a quick 7 min taxi ride from right in front of hotel. For the restless or younger adults there is a nightclub/ lounge across the street with tourists and locals open until 5am . As for the seaweed in the beach in some reviews , it comes and goes … I was not bothered . Really enjoyed my time .

We had an amazing week, in the hotel, this all inclusive hotel, is perfect for family trips, we had a rough start..but it turned out perfect! The rooms are spacious, although we had a problem with our reservation through the travel agency, but IMEN at the reception, did everything she could to help us, making sure we could have it solved, and we changed rooms within 2 hours!! This made our vacation So much better! And everyday we came by the lobby, IMEN would come to us with a smile, asking if everything was ok, this made such an impact on us, and I really feel it made such an difference in our vacation week. So I really need to thank her for her assistance! The variety of food in the buffet is great for every meal, we are not really great fans of all inclusive hotels, but we really thought this hotel is trying to make a diference and made us rethink our family vacations in the future. The entertainment is very well planned with different activities every day an night through out the week. Pool and surrounding garden areas are very nice and spacious, the only downside is that people leave their towels the night before, to reserve sun beds by the family pool, so its hard to find spaces for 4 people together the next morning. But normally by the beach area you can always find a spot. The distance from the center and airport is perfect. We booked several independent day trips, all with pickups from the hotel, and felt it was very central. It’s the perfect place for those that plan a week vacation not only by the pool or beach, but want to do some activities of all kinds around the hotel. If we ever go back to Djerba, we would not stay in another place and would definitely stay at this hotel.
