Palm Beach Club Djerba - All Inclusive

When I booked this hotel, I didn’t know that it was going to be predominantly French and there would only be us 6 English people. However, other than the mix up at Reception where the receptionist spoke very little English - we didn’t have any issues. Most of the amazing animation team spoke English and they did make a point of coming over and translating for us. They involved us in all the activities and made the holiday amazing. The evening shows were ok, mostly provided by the in house animation team. The food was amazing, there was always something delicious to eat and the restaurant staff are so kind and they decorated the tables each night for us - when they discovered it was a birthday celebration they went above and beyond. Our housekeeper, Saleha was amazing, lovely decorations in the bedroom, nothing was too much for him - this wasn’t the same service my mum received in a room further down the corridor which was a shame. There were downsides, mainly the sun bed issues, people getting up at 6am to save sun beds which then laid empty for most of the day, the bar closing at 11pm on the dot, including soft drinks and water. Only 3 spirits are included in the AI but you can buy cocktails - they were nice but expensive. There is a spa on site which is shared with the hotel next door, the women in there have magical hands - I bought a 4 day package, it was amazing and I would recommend it. There was a Hamman over the road from the hotel which may have been cheaper but I never used that. Finally - take cash with you as they don’t like it when you want to pay by card. Euros are preferred over Stirling. I would come back again as it was lovely, relaxing and very clean. Special shout out to Aziz, Najim and Maimai - they were so friendly and welcoming.

It was the best week of my life, thanks to animators and Aziz!! Such a showman and funny guy haha. I recommend this hotel, so many friendly people there, u feel like at home

Ok so let me be honest, after reading the reviews I wasn’t expecting a great deal. When we turned up the outside of the hotel looked a little tired but looks can be deceiving. We had to wait a little while (2 hours) for our room but luckily we were able to eat lunch whilst doing so. There was a good variety of food, loads of fresh salads which for us, non meat eaters was great. However more veggie dishes would have been great in the evening, everything is with meat which we fully understand, this is the local food. The room was fine, clean, towels changed everyday, comfy beds and water replaced daily. The pool was great, the entertainment is all in French but as the only English people in the hotel we didn’t feel like we were ignored, we were here to relax anyway. My only downsides were that the Staff trying to sell activities were very pushy, in the hotel and around the pool. Even after we said no they still proceeded. When we said no for the 5th time, they left us alone but were quite rude. Other than that, great time

Please note this hotel doesn't have a spa owned by themselves.I entered the spa via a door adjoined to the outdoor pool area of the hotel.The staff showed me around and told me about the treatments on offer.The following day I went into the spa again and into the pool area to wait for my partner.when my partner arrived he was told that we could not use the spa and pool it was for another hotel.A worker then came to me and told me very rudely to leave the premises.we showed her we were from the hotel and she made threats to get security.we pointed out that it had our hotel logo all over the walls.I told her this was highly embarrassing and she shrugged her shoulders and said she wasn't embarrassed.The hotel is free h speaking and we along with another couple were the only British there.we feel that we were highly discriminated against and want to warn other bits against coming here.There was no one else in the spa so there was no need for this disgusting behaviour towards us.Is it any wonder we were the o ly British there.change your attitude or change your staff or just stick to the fren h clientele that you have already.

Really successful holidays, nice employees, great bartenders. The staff were really helpful. I recomend this hotel for a vacation, it’s near of a beach, had really nice views, and nice pools. Hotel is good for everyone no matter how old are you. Animators making a realny good job.
