I stayed at the Victory Inn in for 5 days in April 2023as a solo traveller. The hotel was comfortable, clean and quiet. The reception staff were all very friendly and helpful. Room service was excellent - it was good to be able to have a cup of tea or a beer after a hard day's sightseeing. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Victoria metro station and once I had got my bearings it was easy to find. When I first arrived it was 11 at night and a taxi from the metro was only 5 euros. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for good value accommodation in Athens.

Minus: The toothbrush holder looked very dirty, I would probably give it a deep clean. There were some signs of mold in the shower and the toilet paper holder was loose from the wall. The rain shower head lived a life of its own, very inconsistent with how the water came out, it also took time for the water to warm up. If you care about noise, don't get a room with a street view, the windows really weren't soundproof at all. The location is a bit sketchy at night. I would also recommend the hotel to advertise to people not to waste food at the breakfast buffet because there was A LOT of it by others when we were there. This is a big thing for hotels in the north. Pros: The room looked quite newly renovated. Seems like the hotel was under renovation because when we were there it was a completely different style from the breakfast room to the room. It's probably going to be very pretty when it's finished. Plus for the minibar and kettle in the room. Plus for a separate toilet room and shower room. Great view from the balcony in the room and from the roof terrace. Great, down to earth staff. Also a very good breakfast, I have stayed in many different hotels and this is one of the best breakfasts in Europe for me.

The staff of Breeze Hotel definitely are worth mentioning, especially Augel. He was very professional and did everything to make our visit pleasant. I’m sad to read that there was this problem even ages ago, and till last week nothing has changed… I didn’t check tripadvisor before to book I’m only opening this to let the others know this problem but I’m seeing it’s an old and unsolved problem. After the orribile first night told to the reception what happened, oh ok I’ll send the housekeeper to sanificate the room, when we returned back in the evening I think nobody has never entered into that room coz the sheet were still dirty of blood. Second night again, this time they changed us the room, same problem meanwhile I was getting worst and worst and fortunately they chased just me (we were with 2 kids 2 and an half, and 8 months baby). Once again I went down to the reception and we got another room, but nothing changed. The only thing they have to do is junk everything in the bin start to sanificate and deep clean from the rooftop to the basement, then paint the wall and new everything. (We were 4 but in the first two rooms we got 3 single beds, in the last one just a doble bed)

Definitely not a 4 stars hotel. The room is clean, but without any specific facility. The air conditional is old and without a controller that you can use from your bed, the breakfast (11€ per person) is not a big buffet and quality is very bad. More than everything: very RUDE staff. 1) the receptionist is only one, for a big hotel, so you can wait more than 15 minutes to ask anything. I thought I booked an option with breakfast and she told to me in a very annoying way that I was wrong. 2) So the day after I decided to pay , and after two people of the staff asked me only my room s number to enjoy my breakfast - and then pay - , the third one stopped me immediately in front of everyone like I was stupid and I didn’t wait or understand rules. 3) when I left I had my receipt so, as always, I had a check . The receptionist told me “it’s you receipt” twice like I was stupid because I only wanted to read it with calm. 4) no one except one waitress who was the best (that s why I put two stars) said goodbay to the guest or something nice after I paid my stay. 5) more rude attitudes against others guests I ll never come back here and I ll never suggest it. Athens was my last day after an amazing car trip and it was very sad to go home with this memory.

We stayed here for 2 nights after exploring islands around greece. I needed a hotel near acropolis (10 mins walk) and found this hidden gem. The hotel is clean and the check in was super quick. The rooms were comfy and had all the bells and whistle which i did not even get staying at 5* resorts in Mykonos and other islands like kettle, shoe shine, make up wipes. These small and little things matter and this property had it which suprised me the most. The interior of the hotel is tastefully done. The breakfast was at a nearby cafe. We had a coffee and avocado toast there which was just okay. If you are like me who wants to stop at Athens to catch a flight or ferry to the islands and need a proper value for money hotel. This is it.

A newish hotel, this place is very contemporary and makes use of all the limited space it has in a very efficient way. We were checked in by Valga who was friendly, helpful and efficient. Our room was spotless and cool. The beds are very hard, so be warned if you like a soft mattress. The room had all we needed, except for milk which you have to get from reception. A continental Breakfast can be purchased for €13. There’s a small gym if you feel inclined to use it. Valga helped with a good restaurant recommendation and called good value taxis for us. She’s was a super-star. Thank you for a great stay.

I stayed here for one night on 3rd September. The location is very convenient. The port of Piraeus is safe and ”rising” a lot in recent years. If you feel like going on prettier areas, it's only a 15-minute walk or 5 minutes taxi. (Town Hall, Pasalimani/Zea, even Mikrolimano or Piraiki and so on... Metro is 3 minutes walk away too. I liked the facilities in the room (coffee maker, toiletries, ”smart” technology.) Decoration-wise, I liked the hotel. I personally like the blue color in the room, however dark shades make the room seem even smaller.The double bed was comfortable for me traveling alone for one night. It's a city hotel and I knew beforehand that the room would be small, so for me it wasn't a problem. But the classic I stayed in I don't think would be suitable for 2 people and/or a long stay. Some small complains are that there were some tiny stains on the pillows. Cleanliness was good overall, but in 4+ star hotels you expect attention to detail. The staff were polite but the inexperience of some of them shows, they seem kind of anxious and they don't talk comfortably or naturally, tt's like they're parroting a text. I didn't like the breakfast system and something urgent happened, so I left too early and didn't get one. All in all, despite any objections, it will be among my choices for the future.

We recently spent 3 nights at the Athens Life hotel. It is about a 30 min drive from central Athens and there are plenty of parking spaces right outside the hotel. We were given a warm welcome at Reception and our bags were taken to our room. The welcome note and marzipan were a lovely touch. Our room on the 3rd floor was large, clean and very well equipped. We found the low bed and surrounding ledge quite difficult to get in and out of, so do be mindful of this if you have a bad back etc. Some of the furniture/decor is a little tired, but it didn’t take anything away from our stay, especially given the reasonable price of the room. The air conditioning and WiFi were excellent. Our favourite part of the room was the balcony with stunning views over the mountains. We could have sat on it all day! We had a meal and cocktail in the restaurant, plus room service a couple of times and the food and service was fantastic. The hotel is incredibly peaceful and serene and definitely the place if you want to unwind. We barely saw any other guests our entire stay! A very enjoyable stay!
